Crompton Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

(7189803 CROMPTON ROAD, HANDSWORTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along CROMPTON ROAD, between its junction with Church Hill Road and its junction with Heathfield Road.
The Temporary Order is required to enable utility works to be carried out in safety in the carriageways of the above roads.
The proposed prohibition and restriction shall apply only during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 5th February 2024 and will remain in force for a period of SIX WEEKS or until the works are complete, whichever is the sooner.
