What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4337 COPDOCK INTERCHANGE, PINEWOOD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4337 Copdock Interchange, Plnewood from the fast food restaurant for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Copdock Interchange and vice versa. It Is Intended that the closure will operate from 6pm on 25/01/2024 until 6.30am on 26/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8545 WHITE STREET GREEN, POLSTEAD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8548 White Street Green, Polstead from Woodview to Newhouse to facilitate upgrades b an electrical supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be White Street Green, Polstead Road, Calais Street, the A1071, Watsons Comer, Holt Road, White Street Green and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 24/01/2024 -26/01/2024 from 8am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Highways Safety Management. Tel: (01473) 554385.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4205 GROVE ROAD, BENTLEY
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4205 Grove Road, Bentley adjacent to the Post Office to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Grove Road, Hazel Shrub, Bergholt Road, Capel Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 24/01/2024 - 26/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5316 BROCKFORD GREEN, WETHERINGSETT CUM BROCKFORD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5316 Brockford Green, Wetheringsett Cum Brockford from the junction with the A140 for 60 metres eastbound to facilitate pole replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Hockey Hill, Cedars Hill, the A140 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 24/01/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Sunbelt Rentals. Tel: 0370 050 0792.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U5109 TURKEYHALL LANE AND CLAY LANE, BACTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
- the U5109 Turkeyhall Lane, Bacton
- the U5109 Clay Lane, Bacton
This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1113, Westhorpe Road, Finningham, Finningham Road, Westhorpe, Westhorpe Road, Church Hill, Wyverstone, Wyverstone Road, Church Road, Pound Hill, Bacton and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 24/01/2024 -26/01/2024 from 10am - 4pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Suffolk Highways. Tel: 0345 606 6171.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1115 WATER RUN, HITCHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1115 Water Run, Hitcham from 20 metres north of the junction with Brettenham Road for 40 metres northbound to facilitate laying a water pipeline. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1115, the A1308, the B1113, the B1078, the B1115 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 7pm on 02/02/2024 - 6am on 05/02/2024 and 7pm on 09/02/202*- 6am on 12/02/2024. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Anglian Water SPA.
