Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd January 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for works to supply new water source and it is expected that the closure will be from 4th February 2024 to 13th February 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Bank Street, Newquay from junction on Gover Lane to juction on Beachfield Avenue.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd January 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for installation of sewer level equipment and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st February 2024 to 2nd February 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2300 and 0600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Beach Road, Newquay from No 1 to No 8.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th February 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for works to provide new water service and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th February 2024 to 23rd February 2024. Temporary One-Way Suspension Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one- way order cited as The County of Cornwall (Newquay) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Fore Street (Class III) from Sydney Road to Tower Road, Newquay.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one- way order cited as The County of Cornwall (Newquay) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Sydney Road (Class III) from Fore Street to Fernhill Road, Newquay.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a one-way system on Sydney Road from Fore Street to Fernhill Road, Newquay in a westerly direction.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because resurfacing works are being executed on or near the road The Order will come into operation on 18th February 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 28th February 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600 on a daily basis, weekends included.
