TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 QUEENSFERRY
The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 19 January 2024 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in Pierce Street between its junctions with Station Road and Fairfield Road, Queensferry in the County of Rintshire. The reason for the closure is to facilitate gas main replacement works with associated works by Wales and West Utilities. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 5 February 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will only be closed for 3 weeks, or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. BG/FCC (TTRO) 048497

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 GWERNYMYNYDD
Flintshire County Council has made an Order which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding in Heol Y Wern between its junctions
with A494(T) Gwemymynydd Road and Uwch Y Dre, Gwernymynydd in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate drainage repairs with associated works by Flintshire County Council.
The alternative route available for vehicles will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The Order comes into force on the 22 January 2024. It is anticipated that the road will only be closed for 2 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. BG/FCC (TTRO) 04S471

Notice is hereby given that on the 16th January 2024, Flintshire County Council made an Order in exercise of its powers under Sections 82 (2) (a) and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all enabling powers, the effect of which will be:-
a) To impose a speed limit of 30mph on the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.

The Flintshire County Council hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all enabling powers, the effect of which will be:-
a) To impose a speed limit of 20mph by Order on the length of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this notice,
b) To impose a speed limit of 30mph on the length of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice.
c) The Order, if made, will revoke The Flintshire County Council (Ffordd Uanfynydd) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2023 and The Flintshire County Council (B5101 Llanfynydd) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2016 in their entirety.

B5101 Ffordd Llanfynydd, Llanfynydd, from a point 10 metres south east of its junction with the Unnamed Road 2, situated to the west of the B5101 Ffordd Uanfynydd, for a distance of 34 metres in a North westerly direction.
Unnamed Road 1, Llanfynydd, situated to the east of the B5101 Ffordd Llanfynydd: From its junction with the B5101 Ffordd Uanfynydd at a point between the properties known as Archway House and Chapel House for a distance of 33 metres in an easterly direction.
Unnamed Road 2, Llanfynydd, situated to the west of the B5101 Ffordd Llanfynydd: From its junction with the B5101 Ffordd Llanfynydd at a point between the properties known as Uys Awel and New Millward House for a distance of 160 metres in a westerly direction.

Flintshire County Council propose to make an Order in exercise of its powers under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to amend The Flintshire County Council (Various Roads) (20mph, 30mph, 40mph, 50mph and National Speed Limits. Restricted and Derestricted Roads) Order 2023, so as to impose:
a) A 20mph speed limit by Order on the:-
A550, Hawarden:
From its junction with the B5125 Glynne Way, Hawarden for a distance of 240 metres in a southerly direction as shown on Map Schedule M13.
b) To extend the existing speed limit of 40mph on the:-
A550, Hawarden:
From a point 240 metres south of its junction with the B5125 Glynne Way, Hawarden for a distance of 123 metres in a southerly direction as shown on Map Schedules M13.
In all other respects the present provisions of The Rintshire County Council (Various Roads) (20mph, 30mph, 40mph, 50mph and National Speed Limits. Restricted and Derestricted Roads) Order 2023 will remain in force.
