What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Crimchard

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Crimchard - from the junction with Bondfield Way to the junction with Cuttifords Door. A total distance of 284 metres.

This Order will enable Harris and Harris Construction Ltd to carry out works for the new build development on Crimchard road.

The Order becomes effective on 8th February 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 12th February 2024 and last until 22nd March 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 40 days.
