NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49,51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. In order to provide a parking facility to disabled blue badge holders who meet qualifying criteria, the general effect of the above Orders would be to provide designated disabled parking bays for use by motorists in their vehicles who display both a valid disabled blue badge and a dedicated disabled permit which would be applicable to each bay, outside the following locations: 61 Brackenbury Road N2 (by converting a general use disabled permit holders only parking bay), 10 Jackson Road EN4, 2 Park Avenue N3 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), 14 Graywood Court N12, 19 Longberrys NW2 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), 45 Boyne Avenue NW4, 57 Prospect Ring N2 (by converting a permit holders only parking bay), 61 Montpelier Rise NW11 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), 63 Briarfield Avenue N3, (opposite) 2 Playfield Road HA8 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), 100 Brent Terrace NW2 (in place of permit holders only parking), 155 Church Hill Road EN4 (4 wheel footway parking), 17 to 19 Storksmead Road HA8 (2 wheel footway parking), 304 Long Lane N3 (by converting general disabled permit holders parking bay), and 72 Longberrys NW2 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay). The above Orders would also remove redundant disabled parking bays outside 5 Nicoll Place NW4 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking), 7 Birley Road N20 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking), 12 Ravenshurst Avenue NW4 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking), 22 Montrose Crescent N12, 36 Ravenshurst Avenue NW4 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking), and 54 Brent Park Road NW4 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking). In addition, the Orders would also remove a section of Electric Vehicle Charging parking bay opposite 77/79 Silkstream Road HA8, to be converted to shared use resident permit holders and payment parking.

In order to maintain road safety and help maximise resident parking provision the general effect of the Orders would be to introduce resident permit holders only parking bays, operational Monday to Friday 11am to 12pm, outside Nos.2 to 12 Llanvanor Road NW2 and outside Nos.9 to 11 Llanvanor Road NW2, by converting lengths of single yellow line waiting restriction. The Order would also formalise the existing 'At any time' double yellow line waiting restriction on the north side of Llanvanor Road NW2 opposite Nos. 9 to 19. In order to deter obstructive parking, and improve sightlines and safety, the general effect of the above Orders would also be to introduce new lengths 'at any time' waiting restrictions at the following locations:

(a) Grange Avenue N20, both sides, outside Nos. 228 to 25 Grange Avenue

(b) At the junction of Haslemere Avenue and Shirehall Park NW4

(c) At the junction of Mayfield Gardens and Shirehall Park NW4

(d) At the junction of Shirehall Gardens and Shirehall Park NW4

(e) At the junction of Shirehall Close and Shirehall Park NW4

(f) At the junction of Poplar Grove and Larch Close N11

(g) At the junction of Poplar Grove and Silver Birch Close N11

(h) At the junction of The Woodlands and Cowper Road N14

(i) Certain lengths of The Ridgeway NW7, both sides, between its junctions with Partingdale Lane and Burtonhole Lane

(j) Certain lengths of Heming Road HA8, north of its junction with Garratt Road (at the entrance to Edgware Junior School)

(k) At the junction of Heming Road and Fairfield Crescent HA8

(at the entrance to Edgware Junior School) In order to deter obstructive parking and improve sightlines and road safety 'At any time' loading restrictions would also be introduced on Heming Road HA8 at access for Edgware Junior School, and School Keep Clear road markings operational Monday to Friday 8.30am to 9.30am and 2.20pm to 4pm, would be introduced on The Drive NW11, outside Nos. 2 to 8 The Drive.

In order to accommodate the introduction of 'dropped kerb' vehicle crossovers to enable access to off-street parking facilities, the general effect of the Orders would also be to remove existing parking spaces and replace with yellow line waiting restrictions outside the locations as follows:

The general effect of the Orders would also be to add addresses to the Traffic Management Order where it is considered properties should be eligible to apply for Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) parking permits and visitor vouchers, as follows:

No. 99a Great North Road N2 and Odd Nos. 31 to 69

Lyttelton Road N2 to be added to the (M1/Q) East Finchley CPZ; and 14 Cyprus Gardens N3 to be added to the (CE) Church End CPZ
