What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1156 ST MATTHEWS STREET, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A1156 St Matthews Street, Ipswich from Clarkson Street to the Civic Drive roundabout to facilitate access to underground chambers. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Norwich Road, Chevallier Street, Yarmouth Road, Handford Road, Civic Drive and vice versa. It Is Intended that the closure will operate from 9pm on 23/01/2024 until 5am on 24/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer If extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE C328 PLAYFORD ROAD, RUSHMERE ST ANDREW

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the C328 Playford Road, Rushmere St Andrew to facilitate overhead fibre works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Playford Road, the A1214, Main Road, Beatings Road, Martlesham Road, Playford Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate on 01/02/2024 from 9.30am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U4441 ADAIR ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4441 Adair Road, Ipswich to facilitate Carriageway resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Henniker Road, High View Road, Bramford Lane, the A1214, the B1067 and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/02/2024 -03/02/2024 from 7pm - 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C209 PEASENHALL ROAD, WALPOLE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C209 Peasenhall Road, Walpole from 20 metres north of the junction with Hibbs Road for 40 metres southbound to facilitate cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1117, Heveningham Long Lane, the A1120, Pouy Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/02/2024 - 02/02/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Sunbelt Rentals. Tel: 0370 050 0792. Date: 22/01/2024
