Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
A225 ST JOHNS HILL, SEVENOAKS, TN13 3PE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of SEW works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A225 St Johns Hill, Sevenoaks, on or after 29th January 2024 for up to 2 nights between 20.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 142A.
The alternative route is via A225 St Johns Hill, A25 Bradbourne Vale Road/Maidstone Road, A224 London Road/Amherst Hill, Pembroke Road, A225 High Street/Dartford Road and vice versa.
BEESFIELD LANE, FARNINGHAM, DA4 0LA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of drainage kerb/grip improvement works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beesfield Lane, Farningham, on or after 29th January 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Donkey Lane.
The alternative route is via Beesfield Lane, Maplescombe Lane, Botsom Lane, A20 London Road/Gorse Hill/London Road, A225 Eynsford Road and vice versa.
CHEVENING ROAD, CHIPSTEAD, TN13 2SA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chevening Road, Chipstead, on or after 13th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Timbers.
The alternative route is via Chevening Road, Chevening Cross Road, B2211 Ovenden Road/Chevening Road, A25 Main Road/Westerham Road, Homedean Road and vice versa.
HILLINGDON AVENUE, SEVENOAKS, TN13 3RN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hillingdon Avenue, Sevenoaks, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 4A.
The alternative route is via Hillingdon Avenue, B2019 Seal Hollow Road, Bayham Road, Quakers Hall Lane, A225 St Johns Hill, A25 Seal Road and vice versa.
LINGFIELD ROAD, SPRINGFIELD ROAD & STANGROVE ROAD, EDENBRIDGE, TN8 5HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of SES Water mains laying, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lingfield Road, Springfield Road and Stangrove Road, Edenbridge.
Lingfield Road will be closed between numbers 128 and 27 from 12th February 2024 to 16th May 2024.
Springfield Road will be closed between numbers 2 and 110 from 29th April 2024 to 25th July 2024
Stangrove Road will be closed for the entire length from 8th July 2024 to 9th September 2024.
The alternative route for Lingfield Road is via Lingfield Road, B2026 Mont St Aignan Way/High Street/Mill Hill, B2028 Marsh Green Road/Moor Lane/Racecourse Road, Station Road, Crowhurst Road, Haxted Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for Springfield Road is via Skeynes Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for Stangrove Road is via Crouch House Road, Lingfield Road, B2026 Mont St Aignan Way and vice versa.
MOAT LANE, COWDEN, TN8 7DW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Moat Lane, Cowden, on or after 31st January 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Bassetts Old Barn and Sandfield Farm Bungalow.
The alternative route is via Moat Lane, Station Road, Buckhurst Lane, Cowden Pound Road To Truggers Lane, Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Finch Green and vice versa.
PARK LANE, SEAL, TN15 0ED (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Lane, Seal, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Wilderness Club.
The alternative route is via Grove Road, Hall Hill, Stone Street, Blakes Green Road, Bitchet Green Road, Park Lane and vice versa.
PENSHURST LANE & PENSHURST ROAD, LEIGH, TN11 8HN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Penshurst Lane and Penshurst Road, Leigh, on or after 15th February 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between B2027 Tonbridge Road and Cinder Hill Lane.
The alternative route is via B2027 Tonbridge Road, B2176 Moorden Lane/Station Hill, Penshurst Road and vice versa.
PILGRIMS WAY, KEMSING, TN15 6BF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, on or after 2nd February 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with The Landway.
The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Cotmans Ash Lane, Heaverham Road, High Street, West End, Childsbridge Lane and vice versa.
PILGRIMS WAY, KEMSING, TN14 5QL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, on or after 14th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Rowdow Lane and Beechy Lees Road.
The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Pilgrims Way East, A225 Station Road/Sevenoaks Road/Otford Road, A25 Seal Road/High Street, School Lane, Childsbridge Lane and vice versa.
SYCAMORE DRIVE, SWANLEY, BR8 7FN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sycamore Drive, Swanley, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 1 day between 08.00hrs and 16.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside of St Bartholomews Catholic Primary School.
The alternative route is via B2173 Bartholomew Way/Maidstone Road, Hilda May Avenue, Northview and vice versa.
THE STREET, HORTON KIRBY, DA4 9BY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Street, Horton Kirby, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Reeves House to 5 Drays Cottages.
The alternative route is via The Street, Lombard Street, Rays Hill and vice versa.
UCKFIELD LANE, HEVER, TN8 7LN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Uckfield Lane, Hever, on or after 2nd February 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 1 Uckfield Cottage.
The alternative route is via Uckfield Lane, Cowden Pound Road, B2026 Stick Hill/Hartfield Road/Mill Hill, Hever Road and vice versa.
