Newtown - Temporary Road Closure For Supply Separation Works

Temporary Closure of Newtown
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Newtown - from outside number 60 Newtown to outside number 63 Newtown for a total distance of 24 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry our supply separation works.
The Order becomes effective on 25th January 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 29th January 2024 and last until 2nd February 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
