Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

DOVER AREA

A256 CRABBLE HILL, DOVER, CT17 0SD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow railway works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A256 Crabble Hill, Dover, on or after 18th February 2024 for up to 6 hours or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the railway bridge, between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Westbound through traffic is via A256 London Road, A256 Whitfield Hill, A2 between Whitfield Roundabout and junction with A256, A2 between junction with A256 and Duke Of Yorks Roundabout, A2 Jubilee Way, A20 Townwall Street, A256 York Street, A256 Priory Road, A256 High Street, A256 London Road and A256 Crabble Hill.

The alternative route for any Eastbound through traffic is via A256 Buckland Avenue, A256 Barton Road, A256 Frith Road, A256 Charlton Green, A256 Maison Dieu Road, A20 Townwall Street, A2 Jubilee Way, A2 between junction with A256 and Duke Of Yorks Roundabout, A2 between Whitfield Roundabout and junction with A256, A256 Whitfield Hill, A256 London Road and A256 Crabble Hill Road.

B2245 LADYWELL & B2245 PARK PLACE, DOVER, CT17 9RP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, PROHIBITION OF PARKING & SUSPENSION OF RIGHT TURN) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2245 Ladywell & B2245 Park Place, Dover, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 26 days or until the works have been completed.

B2245 Ladywell will be closed at the junction with A256 High Street, from 12th February 2024, with estimated completion by 26th February 2024. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A256 High Street, Bridge Street, A256 Charlton Green, A256 Maison Dieu Road, B2245 Park Street and B2245 Park Place.

Parking On B2245 Park Place will be suspended the entire length, from 26th February 2024, with estimated completion by 8th March 2024. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

A temporary no right turn will be enforced on A256 Priory Road, at the junction with B2245 Ladywell. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

CAMPBELL ROAD, WALMER, CT14 7FJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Campbell Road, Walmer, on or after 6th February 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 87. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via North Barrack Road, York Road, Wollaston Road and vice versa.

CANTERBURY ROAD, LYDDEN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow bridge works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Canterbury Road, Lydden, on or after 29th January 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the railway bridge, between the hours of 07:00 and 15:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Canterbury Road, Lydden Hill, A2 Dover Road, A256 Whitfield Hill, London Road and vice versa.

CHURCH ROAD, COLDRED, CT15 5AP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Coldred, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from Manor Farm to Coldred Hill. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Church Road, Coldred Road, Sandwich Road, Barville Road, A256 Whitfield By-pass From C227 Kennel Hill To C237 Venson Road, A256 Whitfield Bypass, A256 Link Between Whitfield Interchange Roundabouts, A2 Dover Road Slip Westbound On, A2 Between Whitfield Roundabout And Junction With A256, A2 Dover Road and vice versa.

COOMBE VALLEY ROAD, DOVER, CT17 0HJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coombe Valley Road, Dover, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Coombe Close and Lambton Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Barwick Road, St Radigunds Road, Bunkers Hill Road, Hillside Road, Crabble Avenue, Crabble Road, A256 Crabble Hill, A256 Buckland Avenue, Cherry Tree Avenue and A256 London Road.

The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via A256 London Road, A256 Crabble Hill, Crabble Road, Crabble Avenue, Hillside Road, Bunkers Hill Road, St Radigunds Road and Barwick Road.

DOVER ROAD, GUSTON, CT16 1HW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow roadworks to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dover Road, Guston, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 57 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed as a rolling closure, in 3 phases. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Phase 1 - Dover Road will be closed between the junctions of A258 Castle Hill Road and Burgoyne Heights. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Phase 2 - Dover Road will be closed between the junctions of Burgoyne Heights and Old Charlton Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Phase 3 - Dover Road will be closed between the junctions of A258 Castle Hill Road and Burgoyne Heights. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dover Road, The Lane, A258 Deal Road, A258 Castle Hill Road and vice versa.

EASOLE STREET, NONINGTON, CT15 4NH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Easole Street, Nonington, on or after 14th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Butchers Lane and Sandwich Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sandwich Road, Station Road, Hammill Road, Beacon Lane, Marshborough Road, New Street, The Street, Guilton, Pedding Hill, A257 Pedding Hill, A257 Roman Road, A257 Gobery Hill, A257 High Street, B2046 High Street, B2046 Adisham Road, Snowdown Road, Sandwich Road, Holt Street and vice versa.

LONGMETE ROAD, PRESTON, CT3 1DP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Longmete Road, Preston, on or after 29th January 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from The Street to White Post Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Mill Lane, Longmete Road and vice versa.

LOWER ROAD, STAPLE, CT3 1JD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

 To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Road, Staple, on or after 31st January 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Fleming Road and Durlock Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lower Road, Fleming Road, Drainless Road, Beacon Lane, Marshborough Road, New Street, The Street, Guilton, Durlock Road and vice versa.

MONKEYS HILL, EASTRY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Monkeys Hill, Eastry, on or after 1st February 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Heroden Farm and Heroden House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Monkeys Hill, Heronden Road and vice versa.

PARADISE ROW, SANDWICH, CT13 9HX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Paradise Row, Sandwich, on or after 12th February 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of School Road and Strand Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via School Road, Church Street St Mary, Strand Street and vice versa.

SOUTH STREET, DEAL, CT14 6ES (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of South Street, Deal, on or after 15th February 2024 for up to 14 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with High Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The one-way Order for South Street, between the junctions of High Street and Middle Street, will be suspended to allow access. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Middle Street, A258 Broad Street, A258 Beach Street, A258 Prince Of Wales Terrace, Stanley Road and Victoria Road.

STANLEY ROAD, DEAL, CT14 7BD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stanley Road, Deal, on or after 29th January 2024 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Victoria Road and A258 Prince Of Wales Terrace. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Victoria Road, Sondes Road, A258 Prince Of Wales Terrace and Stanley Road.

The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Stanley Road, A258 Prince Of Wales Terrace, Clanwilliam Road and Victoria Road.

WHITE HILL & SOLTON LANE, EAST LANGDON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of White Hill & Solton Lane, East Langdon, on or after 15th February 2024 for up to 6 hours or until the works have been completed.

White Hill will be closed between the junctions of Solton Lane and The Street, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Solton Lane will be closed between the junctions of White Hill and A258 Deal Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A258 Deal Road, Station Road, Hollands Hill, East Langdon Road, The Street and vice versa.
