(C2207 Cowleigh Bank, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2207 Cowleigh Bank from its junction with 134219 Cowleigh Road to its junction with U63532 St. Peters Road.
Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4219 Cowleigh Road, B4232 North Malvern Road, A449 Worcester Road, C2205 Howsell Road, C2205 Upper Howsell Road, C2205 Tanhouse Lane, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, C2207 Sayers Road, C2207 Belmont Road, C2207 Cowleigh Bank and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 12 February 2024.
(A449 Wells Road, Malvern Wells) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of A449 Wells Road from its junction with C2221 Upper Land Road to its junction with U63027 Green Lane.
Reason: Installation of dropped curb by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A448 Wells Road, B4209 Hankey Road, B4208 Blackmore Park Road, B4208 Garrent Bank to Danemoor Cross, A4104 Marlbank Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 12 February 2024.(C2250 Sandlin, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2250 Sandlin from its junction with C2227 Sherridge Road to its junction with C2064 Stitchins Hill.
Reason: Boundary box Repair by Sever Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2227 Sherridge Road, C2064 Stitchins Hill, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 12 February 2024.
(C2260 Madresfield Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2260 Madresfield Road from its junction with B4208 Pickersleigh Road to its junction with U63338 Orford Way.
Reason: Remedial works to carriageway by Amey.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2260 Madresfield Road, U63304 Pound Bank Road, U63304 Upper Chase Road, B4211 Barnards Green Road, B4208 Pickersleigh Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 February 2024.
(U63200 Edith Walk, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63200 Edith Walk from its junction with B4211 Church Street to its junction with C2232 Graham Road.
Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U63200 Edith Walk, C2232 Graham Road, B4111 Church Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 12 February 2024.
(C2206 Stocks Lane, Newland) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2206 Stocks Lane from its junction with A4103 Leigh Sinton to its junction with C2206 Service Road to Worcester Road.
Reason: Kerbing to alleviate flooding by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route:
Northern Diversion: A4103 Leigh Sinton, A4440 Hams Way, A4103 Bransford, A4440 Grove Way, A4440 Hams Way, A449 The Village, A449 Malvern Road, A449 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Southern Diversion: A4103 Leigh Sinton, B4503 Malvern Road, B4503 Lower Interfields, B4503 Upper Interfields, A4503 Leigh Sinton Road, A4503 Newtown Road, A449 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 12 February 2024.
(B4219 Cowleigh Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4219 Cowleigh Road from its junction with U63530 Pump Street to its junction with B4232 North Malvern Road.
Reason: Overhead Works by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4232 North Malvern Road, A449 Worcester Road, B4503 Newtown Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, B4503 Upper Interfields, B4503 Lower Interfields, A4103 Leigh Sinton, A4103 Dragons Cross, A4103 Storridge into Herefordshire, B4219 Cowleigh Park and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63015 Old Wyche Road from its junction with U63041 Lower Wyche Road to its junction with U63017 Westminster Road.

Order made: To close that part of B4209 Hanley Road from its junction with A449 Wells Road to its junction with U63023 Grundys Lane.
Reason: Utility work by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water.

Order made: To close that part of C2098 Church Road from its junction with B4208 Gloucester Road to its junction with U61401 School Road.
Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4208 Gloucester Road, B4208 Birtsmorton, C2110 Birts Street, U61401 School Road, C2098 Church Road (part) and vice versa.
