Hackney Carriage and Private Hire fees consultation

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, that Uttlesford District Council proposes to vary the fees payable for the issue of the following licences from 1 April 2024.

Driver Licence Proposed fee £239.50 (3 year licence) Existing fee £226 (3 year licence)

Vehicle Licence Proposed fee £171 (1 year licence) Existing fee £145 (1 year licence)

Proposed fee £123.50 transfer Existing fee £116.50 transfer

Private Hire Operator Licence Proposed fee £583 (5 year licence) Existing fee £549.50 (5 year licence)
