NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its
powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order
to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of
Charlcombe Lane, Bath from its junction with Lansdown Road extending north east
for approximately 170 metres. USRN: 47900419.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on
or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer re-lining works on the
22nd January 2024 for a maximum period of 7 days. The road will only be
restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the
whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
This is anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.

to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length
of Carlingcott, Carlingcott, Bath from its junction with Carlingcott Lane extending
west to a point outside the property known as Foggetts Folly, 70 Carlingcott.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on
or near the road to enable Wessex Water to install a new connection in the
carriageway on the 22nd January 2024 for a maximum period of 10 days. The road
will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be
effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute
the works. This is anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS between 10:00 - 18:00hrs only.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Access will be maintained for disabled parking and deliveries/

powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make
an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that
length of:
• Church Lane, Monkton Combe (site 4) from its junction with Mill Lane extending
to its junction with The Drung. USRN: 47961661.
• Church Lane, Monkton Combe (site 5) from its junction with Mill Lane extending
to its junction with Shaft Road. USRN: 47961661.
• Shaft Road, Monkton Combe (site 7) from its junction with The Croft extending
north to a point outside the property known as Eddystone. USRN: 47902298.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on
or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry sewer rehabilitation via CIPP lining including cover and frame changes on the 13th February 2024 for a maximum
period of 6 months.
These works will be carried out in phases and only one road will be closed at a time.
Anticipated closure dates are as follows:
• Site 4 is anticipated to take place between 13th - 18th February 2024
• Site 5 is anticipated to take place between 25th March - 5th April 2024
• Site 7 is anticipated to take place between 1st - 5th April 2024

order to the effect of which will be to close temporarily to cyclists, horse riders and
motor vehicles, suspend all parking to vehicles, introduce a one-way restriction and
suspend a one-way restriction in the lengths of roads listed in Schedules 1 and 2.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on
or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out highway
improvement works from the 5th February 2024, for a maximum period of
18 Months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position
and will not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is
necessary to execute the works. The anticipated timescale for each closure is listed
in Schedules 1 and 2 below.
