(Bury Lodge Lane, Stansted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bury Lodge Lane, Stansted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 865m south west then south of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 350m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP022310099311 - TMO highways). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trial hole works are undertaken by TMO highways.
An alternative route is available via Round Coppice Road, Priory Wood Roundabout, A120 M11 J8 Spur Roundabout, Thremhall Avenue, A120 from A120 M11 J8 Spur Roundabout to M11 J8 Roundabout W, M11 J8 Roundabout, Bishops Stortford Bypass, Birchanger Roundabout, Stansted Road, Pines Hill, Silver Street, Chapel Hill, Church Road and vice versa (with access only into Bury Lodge Lane and Round Coppice Road).
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Finchingfield Road, Little Sampford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Finchingfield Road, Little Sampford in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 360m south east of its junction with Great Sampford Road for a distance of approximately 115m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th February 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06055472JB - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Finchingfield Road, High Street, Moor End Road, Anso Road, High Street, Bumpstead Road, Hempstead Road, Water Lane, North Street, Haverhill Road, Finchingfield Road, Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End, The Causeway, The Green, Brent Hall Road, Sampford Road, Hawkins Hill, Finchingfield Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Heydon Lane/Bury Lane, Elmdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Heydon Lane, Elmdon in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Bury Lane, Elmdon in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Heydon Lane for a distance of approximately 30m to its end of public highway.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 14th February 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WF7DH46W/01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via High Street, Essex Hill, Royston Road, Hollow Road, High Street, The Green, Crawley End Road, Mill Causeway, Hertford Lane, Heydon Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Stortford Road, Clavering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stortford Road, Clavering in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 215m south east of its junction with Pelham Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX055DS0053991 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Stortford Road, Manuden Road, Clavering Road, The Street, Carters Hill, Hazelend Road, Gipsy Lane, Pines Hill, Silver Street, Cambridge Road, London Road, Cambridge Road, London Road, High Street, Wicken Road, Clatterbury Lane, High Street, Middle Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Cannons Common, Hatfield Broad Oak) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cannons Common, Hatfield Broad Oak in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Dunmow Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st January 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410216310RC - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap and boundary box installation works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Cannons Common, Dunmow Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 11th January 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
