What is happening?
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
(CHURCH LANE, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Services Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Church Lane from its junction with Lower Edge Road to 47 Church Lane for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th January 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(HEATH HILL ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Heath Hill Road from No. 20 to No. 24 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Heath Hill Road, Moor End Road, Sandbeds Road, Highroad Well Lane, Roils Head Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 24th January 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(AACHEN WAY, KING CROSS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Aachen Way adjacent to Hawthorn Street for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 24th January 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th January 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 23:30 & 06:00.
(HANOVER STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by O’Connor Utilities Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hanover Street from its junction with King Cross Street for a distance of approximately 38 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Hopwood Lane, King Cross Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th February 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th February 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(QUEENS ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Queens Road from No.110 to No.116 for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Queens Road, Hopwood Lane, Warley Road, Parkinson Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th February 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th February 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(UNION STREET, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
(NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Union Street from No.27 to No.29 for a distance of approximately 4 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 6th February 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 8th February 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 19:00.
(HAMMOND STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Clearview Services Group intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hammond Street from No. 59 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th February 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 8th February 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
