ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF MAIN STREET NORTH ANSTON SHEFFIELD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Main Street, North Anston from the western kerb line of Mill Haven for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction from Monday 22nd. January until Friday 26th. January 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Main Street, Mill Lane, Sheffield Road, Worksop Road, Ryton Road, Main Street Slip Road, Hillside and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of gas connection).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF A630 ROTHERHAM GATEWAY/M1 J33 ROUNDABOUT PART OF A630 ROTHERWAY AND

PART OF A630 ROTHERHAM GATEWAY CANKLOW ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the four parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice from 8pm on Sunday 28th. January until 6am on Monday 29th. January 2024 and provisionally from 8pm on Sunday 4th. February until 6am on Monday  5th. February 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via A630 West Bawtry Road, A630 Centenary Way, A6178 Sheffield Road, J34 Tinsley roundabout, A631 Shepcote Lane, Europa Link.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Installation of a vehicle restraint barrier for safety of site personnel).

SCHEDULE

1.     The eastern motorway bridge from the M1 south entry slip road to the Rotherham Gateway eastbound junction.

2.     To prohibit any vehicle travelling in a southerly direction along A630 Rotherway from proceeding in any direction other than the M1 southbound.

3.     A630 Rotherham Gateway closed to non-motorway users from its junction with the A630 Rotherway/West Bawtry Road roundabout south bound.

4.     A630   Rotherham Gateway closed in a westerly direction from its junction with the A630 Rotherham Gateway/ M1 J33 Roundabout, Canklow to its junction with the exit slip road to Poplar Way.

PART OF A630 ROTHERWAY CANKLOW ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Rotherway, northbound only towards Rotherham, from the J33/M1 roundabout to A630 West Bawtry Road roundabout from 10pm on Sunday 28th. January until 6am on Monday 29th. January 2024 and from 10pm on Wednesday  14th. February until 6am on Thursday 15th. February 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Europa Link, A631 Shepcote Lane, A631 M1 J34 South Roundabout, A6178 Sheffield Road, A630 Centenary Way, A630 Canklow Roundabout and A630 West Bawtry Road.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Removal of enabling works for new service area).

ART OF LANGLEY CLOSE EAST HERRINGTHORPE ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Langley Close from the last 20m of the adopted highway before the garage site access from Monday 22nd. January until Wednesday  24th. January 2024.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the order.

PART OF UPPER MILLGATE ROTHERHAM TOWN CENTRE (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice from Wednesday 31st. January until Monday 12th. February 2024.

NOTICE is further given that there are no alternative routes for vehicles affected by the Order.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Installation of telecommunications apparatus).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Bridgegate from the Red Lion Yard to its junction with Upper Millgate.

(ii)   Upper Millgate from its junction with Bridgegate to its junction with Church Street.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Penny Hill, Firbeck from its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 285m in a south westerly direction to the bridge on Monday 29th. January and Tuesday 30th. January 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be New Road, Kidd Lane, B6463 Lamb Lane and vice versa. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation pole for telecommunications).

PART OF GARDEN LANE RAVENFIELD ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Garden Lane from its junction with St James Drive for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction on Tuesday 30th. January and Wednesday 31st. January 2024.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the order.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of pole for telecommunications).
