Bradford, Multiple Roads, Waiting, Loading & Parking Restrictions
What is happening?
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO.**) ORDER 202* (WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE BRADFORD EAST CONSTITUENCY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 introducing various parking restrictions on the lengths of road set out below:-
Bolton & Undercliffe
i. No Waiting At Any Time - In three lengths around the junction of Pelham Road and Idle Road.
ii. No Waiting At Any Time - Kings Gate, the entire length to its junction with Canal Road
Bowling & Barkerend.
i. Limited Waiting, Monday-Saturday, 08:00am-5:30pm, 30minut.es no return in 1 hour, East side of Francis Street in two sections for a total distance of 17metres.
ii. No Waiting At Any Time - In two lengths around the junction of Thurley Road and Bowling Hall Road.
Bradford Moor
i. No Waiting At Any Time - Florence Street, North side, Three sections in total, Partial relaxation of No Waiting At Any time - South side of Florence Street, Four sections in total, Limited Waiting 2 hours no return in 3 hours - South side of Florence Street.
ii. Partial relaxation of No Waiting At Any Time restrictions - Both North and South sides of the Unnamed Link Road of Thombury Avenue, Thornbury Drive and Rushton Road, Four sections in total.
Eccleshill
i. Limited Waiting, Monday-Saturday, 2 hours no return in 3 hours -Harrogate Road in the layby outside St Luke's Church, No Waiting At Any Time - South side of Harrogate Road outside 262 and 264.
ii. No Waiting At Any Time - In two lengths around the junction or Intake Terrace and Intake Road.
iii. No Waiting At Any Time - In two lengths on both the North and South sides of Robin Close.
iv. No Waiting At Any Time - In two lengths on the East side of Thackeray Road around the access to the Gateway Centre.
Idle & Thackley
i. No Waiting At Any Time - One length leading from the South side of Harehill Road into the West Side of Ducie Street.
ii. No Waiting At Any Time - in four lengths around the junction of Doctor Hill and Highfield Road, A partial relaxation of No Waiting At Any Time and School Keep Clear restrictions - Highfield Road and Doctor Hill, School keep clear restriction - South East kerb of Highfield Road outside Blakehill Primary School
iii. No Waiting At Any Time - in two lengths around the junction of Highfield Road and Santa Monica Road.
iv. No Waiting At Any Time - in two lengths around the junction of Cross Road and Wesley Grove.
Little Horton
i. No Waiting At Any Time - in one length on the South side of Bowling Old Lane outside Dixon Sixth Form Academy.
ii. Partial relaxation of two lengths of No Waiting Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm - between 834 and 804 Little Horton Lane, conversion on No Waiting Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm to No Waiting At Any Time - in six lengths around the junctions of Little Horton Lane with Christopher Street, Thornton Lane and Farside Green.
iii. Conversion of No Waiting Monday-Friday 8am-4pm to No Waiting At Any Time - in three lengths on both sides of Ryan Street around Newby Primary School.
A copy of the draft Order together with maps showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or examined on the council web site at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order or obtained from Traffic Engineer, James Haigh, by email james.haigh@bradford.gov.uk Quoting reference number HS/ TRSS/105634/JH.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by e-mail to legalobjections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on 15th February 2024 quoting reference:- CORP/PCD/JLF/415591.
