Moor Lane and Knowle Lane, Multiple Temporary Road Closures
What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN
(MOOR LANE, DARWEN) (KNOWLE LANE, DARWEN) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to close Moor Lane and Knowle Lane for the following extent: From its junction with Goose House Lane and Chapels to outside Moor Lea.
The closure is necessary for the following reason: High and Low Voltage Diversion Works.
The Order will come into force on 22nd January 2024 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Knowle Lane, Chapels, Winterton Road, Olive Lane, Sudellside Street, Marsh House Lane, Roman Road, Pot House Lane, Holden Fold, Moor Lane
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
