Order Made: To close that part of B4084 Pershore Road from its junction with U47644 Whittington Road Service Road to its junction with C2055 Woodbury Lane.

Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4084 Pershore Road, A44 Whittington Road, A4440 Whittington Road, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A44 Spetchley Road, A44 Evesham Road, B4084 Egdon Lane, B4084 Windmill Lane, B4084 Pershore Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 13 nights (19:00 - 07:00) between 24 January 2024 and 9 February 2024.

(U52022 Ronkswood Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U52022 Ronkswood Crescent from its junction with U52017 Humber Road for a distance of 30 metres.

Reason: New/replacement gas main by Trinity Management.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52022 Ronkswood Crescent, B4636 Newtown Road, U52017 Humber Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 5 February 2024.

(U52035 Prestwich Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U52035 Prestwich Avenue from its junction with U52036 Devon Road to its junction with U52037 Redfern Avenue.

Reason: Dropped kerb for vehicle crossing by WCC

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52037 Redfern Avenue, U52036 Devon Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days, Commencing: 12 February 2024.

(U51013 Lansdowne Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U51013 Lansdowne Crescent from its junction with B4550 Rainbow Hill to its junction with U51012 Lansdowne Crescent Lane.

Reason: Removal of vegetation from retaining wall alongside carriageway by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Clockwise diversion: U51013 Lansdowne Crescent (part), U51012 Lansdowne Crescent Lane, C2294 Lansdowne Road, B4550 Rainbow Hill, U51013 Lansdowne Crescent (part).

(U53117 Friar Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (Friar Street and Union Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U53117 Friar Street from its junction with A44 College Street to its junction with U53119 Union Street and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Friar Street and Union Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 to allow for access to businesses and residents during the works. Reason: Remedial work to repair broken block paving and slabs by Severn Trent Water.

To close that part of U53117 Friar Street from its junction with A44 College Street to its junction with U53119 Union Street and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Friar Street and Union Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 to allow for access to businesses and residents during the works.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other

form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A44 College Street, A37 City Walls Road, U53119 Union Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 21 January 2024.

(C2222 Walcot Lane, Drakes Broughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2222 Walcot Lane from its junction with C2115 Stonebow Road to its

junction with B4083 Station Road.

Reason: Sewer works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other

form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2115 Stonebow Road, B4084 Worcester Road, B4083 Station Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 22 January 2024.

(C2230 The Common, Abberley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2230 The Common from its junction with B4202 Apostles Oak to its junction with A443 The Common. Abberley to Wynniatts Way.

Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation by Eden Homes.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A443 The Common, Abberley to Wynniatts Way, B4202 Apostles Oak and vice versa

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 12 February 2024.

(U51111 Cranham Drive, Worcester) (Temporary Closure)

Proposed Order: To close that part of U51111 Cranham Drive from its junction with U51123 Crickley Drive to its junction with U51120 Sheepscombe Drive.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U51120 Sheepscombe Drive, U51123 Crickley Drive and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days. Commencing: 12 February 2024.

(Link Footpath F50146 Elizabeth Avenue (between no. 22/24), Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50146 Elizabeth Avenue (between no. 22/24) from its junction with A449 Ombersley Road to its junction with U50314 Elizabeth Avenue.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50314 Elizabeth Avenue, U50315 Whinfield Road, A449 Ombersley Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days between 18 January 2024 and 30 January 2024.

(U62002 Hawthorn Lane, Powick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U62002 Hawthorn Lane from its junction with A449 Worcester Road to its

junction with C2103 Lower Woodsfield.

Reason: Overhead Works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other

form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A449 Worcester Road, C2102 Newland, C2103 Upper Woodsfield and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 23 January 2024.

(C2075 Hindlip Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2075 Hindlip Lane from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road to its junction with Spring Bank (Private). Reason: Replacement gas main By Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2075 Hindlip Lane, A4536 Blackpole Road, A4536 Hurst Lane, A38 Droitwich Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 22 January 2024.

(U53136 Mill Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and Worcestershire County Council (Mill Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2017

Proposed Order: To close that part of U53136 Mill Street from its junction with U53138 Portland Street to its junction with U53137 Willow Street and to temporarily part suspend Worcestershire County Council (Mill Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2017 for the duration of the works to allow access for residents and business.

Reason: Replacement water main by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4424 Upton Road from its junction with U62013 Frog Lane to its junction with U62006 Bush Lane.

Reason: Drainage Work/Flood Alleviation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4424 Upton Road, B4424 Clevelode, B4424 The Rhydd, B4211 Rhydd Road, B4211 Gualford Road, B4211 Barnards Green Road, B4208 Pickersleigh Road, B4208 Townsend Way, A449 Worcester Road, A449 Malvern Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 12 February 2024.

(B4205 Sansome Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1977 (Temporary Suspension (Part) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4205 Sansome Street from its junction with A38 Foregate Street to its junction with A38 Sansome Walk and to temporarily part suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1977 for the duration of the works to allow access for residents and business.

Reason: Installation of new crossing point by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Foregate Street, A449 Castle Street, A449 Croft Road, A44 Dolday, A44 All Saints Road, A44 Deansway, A44 College Street, A38 City Walls Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 5 February 2024.

(C2029 Claines Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2029 Claines Lane from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road to its junction with C2138 School Bank.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2138 School Bank, C2138 Danes Green, C2138 Dilmore Lane, A38 Droitwich Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days. Commencing: 10 February 2024.

(Footpath MT-758, Martley) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024

Order made: To close Footpath MT-758, Martley for its entire length.

The Order has been made as a result of an unsafe bridge.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: North-west along C2066, north-east then south-east on Footpath MT-759, easterly on Footpath MT-760 in Martley and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing from 28 December 2023.

Worcestershire County Council The County of Worcestershire (C2109 and C2209 Station Road, Wadborough) (Restricted Roads) Order 2000 (Revocation) and (Various Roads, Wadborough) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2024

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to extend the speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Wadborough to 30 miles per hour:

C2109, Wadborough: From a point 18 metres west of its junction with C2100 for a distance of 160 metres in a north easterly direction.

C2100, Wadborough: From its junction with C2109 for a distance of 106 metres in a southerly direction and for a distance of 410 metres in a north westerly direction. There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
