What is happening?
Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has made the CITY OF MANCHESTER (SNELL STREET, ANCOATS AND BESWICK) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on: Snell Street (i) the north-east side for its entire length; and (ii) the south-west side, from 10m south east of Isaac Way north-westerly to 45m north west of Isaac Way.
An existing Order has been amended to be consistent with the above. The Order was made on 9 January 2024 and will come into operation on 23 January 2024. A copy of the made Order, a copy of the Order that has been amended and the plan may be inspected at Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 9 January 2024 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
