What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WOOTTON ONE MILE, WOOTTON ST LAWRENCE, BASINGSTOKE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Wootton One Mile between its junction with B3400 Andover Road and its junction with Ibworth Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ibworth Lane, A339, Roman Road, Roman Way, B3400.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 19th January 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day between the hours 08:00 -18:00).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
