What is happening?

NORTH TYNESIDE COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO REPUBLISH THE REGISTER OF ELECTORS

In accordance with the Representation of the People Act 1983 and the Representation of the People (England and Wales) Regulations 2001, notice is hereby given that North Tyneside Council intend to publish a revised register of electors.
The revised Register will incorporate the changes to polling districts, polling places and polling stations which is expected to be approved by North Tyneside Council on 1 February 2024. 
The changes will be effective at the Local Government Elections for North Tyneside Council scheduled for Thursday 2 May 2024. 
Electors registered in the area need take no action as a result of this Notice, but prospective candidates and agents should take note that the electoral numbers of registered electors may change as a consequence of the republication. 
The Register will be available for inspection by appointment only, at North Tyneside Council, Quadrant, The Silverlink North, Cobalt Business Park, NE27 0BY.
