U6009 Hebron Village To Cockle Park Junction - Temporary Road Closure

U6009 HEBRON VILLAGE TO COCKLE PARK JUNCTION HEBRON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6009 Hebron Village To Cockle Park Junction Hebron from a point 237 metres north east to a point 237 metres south west of its junction with Cockle Park for a length of 474 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th February 2024 until the 5th August 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th February 2024 until the 16th February 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C129, A1, C130, U6009 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for civil repair and resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
