What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 -  KIRKLEES COUNCIL

(GRANNY LANE, LOWER HOPTON, MIRFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Granny Lane, Lower Hopton from its junction with Gregory Springs Road to its junction with Hagg Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Steanard Lane, Huddersfield Road, Station Road, Hopton New Road, Granny Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Sunday, 4th February 2024 between 08:00 - 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TAYLOR HALL LANE, MIRFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Taylor Hall Lane, Mirfield from its junction with Northway to its junction with Redlands  PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Taylor Hall Lane, Eastway, Northway and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 5th February 2024 and remain in force until 7th February 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BRADFORD ROAD, BIRKENSHAW, BRADFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bradford Road, Birkenshaw from its junction with Birkenshaw roundabout to a point outside property no. 618 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Whitehall Road West, Bradford Road, Dewsbury Road, St Peg Lane, Spen Bank, Spen Lane, Oxford Road, Bradford Road. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 5th February 2024 and remain in force until 9th February 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(FIXBY LANE, WHITLEY, DEWSBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Fixby Lane, Whitley outside Rose Cottage  PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend Dated this 18 January 2024. to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Fixby Lane, Back Lane, Liley Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Clough Lane, Falhouse Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 5th February 2024 and remain in force until 9th February 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LYDGATE ROAD, SOOTHILL, BATLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lydgate Road, Soothill from a point outside property no. 1 to a point outside property no. 19 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.  Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 5th February 2024 and remain in force until 7th February 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BRUNSWICK STREET, BATLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Brunswick Street, Batley from its junction with Commercial Street to its junction with Hanover Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will not be maintained. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Commercial Street, Wards Hill, Hanover Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 22nd January 2024 and remain in force until 29th March 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(QUAKER LANE, HIGHTOWN, LIVERSEDGE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Quaker Lane, Hightown, Liversedge from its junction with Halifax Road to its termination point PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.  Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 22nd January 2024 and remain in force until 28th January 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
