ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(LIME PIT LANE, STANLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 20) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for Naggerline

Heritage Scheme to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Lime Pit Lane, Stanley from Oak Avenue to Aberford Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Lime Pit Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Lime Pit Lane, A642 Aberford Road, Lake Lock Lane, Lime Pit Lane and vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 22nd January 2024 to

26th January 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(CROSS QUEEN STREET, NORMANTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 23) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for carriageway surfacing to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Cross Queen Street, Normanton from King Street to the points closure. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Cross Queen Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 23rd January 2024 to

24th January 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(WEBSTER PLACE, NORMANTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 24) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for carriageway surfacing to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Webster Place, Normanton from Altofts Road to Thompson Street. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Webster Place.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Webster Place, Altofts Street, King Edward Street, Thompson Street & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 25th January 2024 to

26th January 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(WEST STREET, NORMANTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 25) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for carriageway surfacing to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: West Street, Normanton from Queen Street to the points closure. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of West Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 22nd January 2024 to 23rd January 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(MOUNTBATTEN CRESCENT, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 35) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for renewal of fire hydrant to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Mountbatten Crescent, Wakefield, outside number 2 Mountbatten Crescent approximately 30 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Mountbatten Crescent.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Mountbatten Avenue, Mountbatten Crescent.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 5th February 2024 at 20.00 hours to 7th February 2024 at 06.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(KING STREET & LEE STREET, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 36) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for gas mains

replacement scheme to be carried out as follows:-

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: King Street & Lee Street, Wakefield,

approximately 9 metres, both streets. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed lengths of King Street & Lee Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Cliff Parade, Drury Lane, Westgate.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 5th February 2024 to

9th February 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(ALVERTHORPE ROAD, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 37) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for carriageway planing & patching to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Alverthorpe Road, Wakefield, from Westgate End to Mill Chase Gardens. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Alverthorpe Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Alverthorpe Road, Westgate End, Plumpton Road, Victoria Avenue, Darnley Avenue, Balne Lane, Alverthorpe Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 2nd February 2024 to

3rd February 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(CHALD LANE, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 38) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to carry out sewer clearance to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Chald Lane, Wakefield, for approximately 190 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Chald Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, access maintained where possible. PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 6th February 2024 08.00 hours to 16.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
