Proposed Order: To close that part of B4091 Worcester Road from its junction with U21094 Westbourne Close to its junction with U21017 Ford Road.

Reason: Repair broken connection by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Worcestershire County Council (Bromsgrove District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting (Proposal) on Barley Mow Lane, Catshill, Bromsgrove]

On 4 January 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order giving permanent effect to an Experimental Order made on 13 April 2023 the effect of which will prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Bromsgrove: -

Barley Mow Lane, Catshill - North Side

From its junction with the B4185 for a distance of 20m in an easterly direction.

From a point 51m east of its junction with the B4185 for a distance of 12m in an easterly direction.

Barley Mow Lane, Catshill - South Side

From its junction with the B4185 for a distance of 15m in an easterly direction.

From a point 29m east of its junction with the Milton Road for a distance of 20m in an easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 25 January 2024.
