ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14(1) (Back Hillcrest Avenue, Chapeltown, Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Northern Power Grid works, Leeds City Council made an Order on 11 January 2024, the effect of which is that:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Back Hillcrest Avenue, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward for approx 200m from its junction with Shepherds Lane. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Diversion 1: Cowper Street, Hillcrest Avenue/Spencer Place, Shepherds Lane; Diversion 2: Shepherds Lane, Hillcrest View/Hamilton Terrace, Cowper Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. 16th January 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Coldcotes View, Gipton, Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for gas mains replacement, Leeds City Council made an Order on 11 January 2024, the effect of which is that:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Coldcotes View, Gipton, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward between its junctions with Coldcotes Drive and 59 Coldcotes View. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Coldcotes Drive, Coldcotes Circus, South Farm Road, Coldcotes View, Coldcotes Crescent. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. 17th January 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Northern Gas Network Works, Leeds City Council has made an Order on 11 January 2024, the effect of which is as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Station Road, Otley, Leeds in the Otley & Yeadon Ward one-way between its junctions with Bondgate and Burras Lane. Vehicles will still be able to use Burras Lane to enter Bondgate/Kirkgate. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Kirkgate, Beech Hill, Westgate, Piper Lane, Bradford Road, West Chevin Road, Burras Lane. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. Monday 15th January 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 26th January 2024. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern Gas Network works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Burton Crescent, Headingley, Leeds in the Weetwood Ward at its junction with Otley Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Otley Road, Shaw Lane, Burton Crescent and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 5th of February 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 16th February 2024. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern Gas Network works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along South Farm Road, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward between its junctions with Coldcotes Crescent and Brander Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Coldcotes Circus, Coldcotes Drive, Oakwood Lane, Wykebeck Valley Road, Gipton Approach and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Saturday 10th February 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road Closure for gas works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Mavis Avenue, Cookridge, Leeds in the Adel & Wharfedale Ward between its junctions with Cookridge Lane and Mavis Avenue. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Cookridge Lane, Mavis Lane, Mavis Avenue. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Saturday 10th February 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Footway reconstruction and suspension of on street parking) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Woodside Place, Leeds between its junctions with Kirkstall Road and Bankfield Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Kentmere Avenue, South Parkway, Foundry Mill Drive, Brooklands Crescent. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 5th February 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Farrer Lane, Oulton, Leeds in the Rothwell Ward between its junctions with Farrer Lane and Aberford Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Aberford Road, Leeds Road, Calverley Road, Aberford Road. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Friday 2nd February 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Tong Road, Upper Wortley Road and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 29th January 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 9th February 2024. The closure will be in place 24hr daily.

Odda Lane, Leeds in the Guiseley & Rawdon Ward from a point adjacent to Stone Croft to the entrance to the Cemetery. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Old Lane, Hillings Lane and vice versa. Monday 29 January 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 1 March 2024.
