ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:
Martcombe Road, Easton-in-Gordano, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Pedestrians and Cyclists Order 2024 Date coming into force: 12 February 2024 -Ref: Martcombe Road/Happerton Lane
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by North Somerset Council to Road closure to enable the removal of diseased ash trees. This will become operative on the 12 February 2024 between 9.30am and 3.30pm for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This will become operative on the 11 March 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 days in duration. Is to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the schedule to this notice.
This order
was required because of highway improvement works and will become operative on 2 October 2023 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works. It is anticipated the closures on Main Road, Brockley will be at night-time only from 8pm to 6am and will take place from approximately 5 February 2024 on an intermittent basis for several weeks until the end of March (see signs for exact dates). The closure of Brockley Lane will continue until the end of MarchSchedule - A370 Main Road, Brockley from its Southwestern most junction with Chelvey Batch to its junction with Littlewood Lane. Brockley Lane, Brockley from its junction with A370 Main Road, Brockley to the entrance to Brockley Hall.

Notice of Intention to Republish the Register of Electors North Somerset Council
In accordance with the Representation of the People Act 1983 and the Representation of the People (England and Wales) Regulations 2001 notice is hereby given of the council's intention to publish a revised register of electors on 1 February 2024. Electors registered in the area do not need to take any action as a result of this notice. The revised Register will incorporate all of the changes to polling districts and polling places, which were approved by North Somerset Council in November 2023. Registers may be viewed, by appointment only, at North Somerset Council, Town Hall, Walliscote Grove Road, Weston-Super-Mare BS23 1UJ.
