NOTICE OF PROPOSAL (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) (Various Roads) (Consolidation) Order 2022 (Amendment No.16) 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 38, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, 61 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty with Section 122 of the said Act.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to:
1. Amend the Cheshire East Borough Council (Prohibition and restriction of Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) (Various Roads) (Consolidation) Order 2022 by:
i. Revoking the existing No Waiting at Any Time prohibition outlined in Schedule 1 below and by replacing Map Tile No. DR106 in the Consolidation Order schedules.
ii. Introducing the additional No Waiting at Any Time prohibition as outlined in Schedule 2 below and by replacing Map Tile No. DR106 in the Consolidation Order schedules.
2. The restrictions and/or prohibitions imposed by this proposed Order shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any restrictions or requirements imposed by any regulations made or having effect as if made under the Act or by or under any other enactment.
SCHEDULE 1 – (Revocation of No Waiting at Any Time)
Wistaston Road, Willaston (East side) – from a point 17 metres south of the projected southern kerb line of Orchard Street for a distance of 11 metres in a southerly direction.
SCHEDULE 2 – (Introduction of No Waiting at Any Time)
Wistaston Road, Willaston (East side) – from the projected southern kerb line of Orchard Street for a distance of 6 metres in a southerly direction.
Wistaston Road, Willaston (West side) – from a point 10 metres north of the projected northern kerb line of Orchard Street, in a southerly direction, for a distance of 52 metres.
Orchard Street, Willaston (Both sides) – from its junction with Wistaston Road, for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction.

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL – Speed Limit Order (Various Roads) (Consolidation ) Order 2022 (Amendment No.6) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Section 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 38, 45, 46, 51, 53, 61, 81, 82 and 84 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty with Section 122 of the said Act.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to:
1. Amend the Cheshire East Borough Council (Various Roads) (Consolidation) Order 2022 by introducing the additional speed restrictions as outlined in Schedule 1 below and replacing Map Tiles No’s. DL125 and adding Map Tile No’s. DM125, DN125, DN124, DO125 in the Consolidation Order schedules.
2. The restriction imposed by this proposed Order shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any restrictions or requirements imposed by any regulations made or having effect as if made under the Act or by or under any other enactment.
SCHEDULE 1 – ( 40 Mph Speed Limit)
Radway Green Road, Haslington
From its junction with Butterton Lane for a distance of 1099 metres in a south-westerly direction.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Radway Green Road, Barthomley
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Radway Green Road, Barthomley – From 50m either side of the level crossing.
The alternative route will be via Radway Green Road, Crewe Road, Butterton Lane, Butterton Lane Service Road, Barthomley Road, Old Park Road, Weston Road Roundabout, Weston Road, Meremoor Roundabout, Newcastle Road, A500 M6 J16 Roundabout and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Thursday 22 February 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Saturday 2 March 2024.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Roads Within Crewe
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – West Street, Crewe – For its full extent.
Ford Lane, Crewe – For its full extent.
Ramsbottom Street, Crewe – For its full extent.
Derby Street, Crewe – For its full extent.
Goddard Street, Crewe – For its full extent.
Vernon Way, Crewe – For its full extent.
Earle Street, Crewe – For its full extent.

This order will come into operation on Monday 26 February 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 22 March 2024.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Delamere Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
St Marys Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
Gatefield Street, Crewe – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Flag Lane, Hightown, West Street, Vernon Way, Earle Street Roundabout, Earle Street, Prince Albert Street, Chester Street, Market Street and vice versa.
This order will come into operation on Monday 5 January 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 1 March 2024.
