EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(C53,Kilmarnock Treeswoodhead Road)
(Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
On 16th January 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow safer access for works at BESS facility.
30mph Speed Limit - C53, Treeswoodhead Road, Kilmarnock from the junction with Jane Darnbrough Gardens to East Ayrshire Boundary.
The Order commences from 29 January 2024 at 08:00 and has a maximum duration of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The speed limit is expected to be in force from 29 January 2024 at 08:00 until 29 July 2025 at 18:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only at times when indicated by the display of appropriate speed limit signs in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016, as amended.

(Cutstraw Road, Stewarton) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
On 16th January 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order,to allow works on behalf of Akela Construction LTD
Temporary Road Closure – Cutstraw Road, Stewarton, From roundabout on Cutstraw Road, heading East, approx. 120m.
The Order commences on 05 February 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 05 February 2024 at 00:01 with the closure remaining in place until 03 March 2024 at 23:59.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access and access for residents, deliveries will be via diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Cutstraw Road, Clunch Road, A77, B778, Loudon Street, Kirkford, Cutstraw Road and vice versa.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(C53, Treeswoodhead Road, Kilmarnock)
(Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
On 11th January 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow safer access for works at BESS facility.
30mph Speed Limit - Kilmarnock Treeswoodhead Rd, Kilmarnock - Restriction from South Ayrshire Council boundary to the junction with A719.
The Order commences from 29 January 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The speed limit is expected to be in force from 29 January 2024 at 08:00 until 29 July 2025 at 18:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only at times when indicated by the display of appropriate speed limit signs in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016, as amended.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Cunninghame Road, Prestwick) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
On 11th January 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Scottish Power Works.
Temporary Road Closure – Cunninghame Road, Prestwick, from at junction Cunninghame Road/Moorfield Road to outside 16 Cunninghame Road.
The Order commences on 05 February 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 05 February 2024 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 16 February 2024 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access and access for residents, deliveries will be maintained via diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Moorfield Road - Biggart Road - Adamton Road South.
