What is happening?

Boundary Road (D117) Dockenfield Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 17 January 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Boundary Road (D117) Dockenfield which extends from its junction with Woodhill Lane to its junction with the access road leading to “Highlands”. This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate new gas connection works, which is anticipated to be completed within 5 days, between 8am and 4pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 January 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained via the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises, including emergency vehicle access, within the length of road above or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising. Alternative Route – Boundary Road, Batts Corner, Dockenfield Street, The Street, Pitt Lane, Shortfield Common Road, Woodhill Lane and Boundary Road.

Bishops Road (D5353) and Folly Lane North (D5353) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 17 January 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice and (b) suspend “Surrey County Council D5353 Folly Lane North and D125 Simmondstone Lane, Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” insofar as it relates to Folly Lane North only. This Order is required to enable Traffic Control 123 Limited to facilitate cabling and/or box installation works and other associated telecommunication works, which is anticipated to be carried out between 8am and 5pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 23 January 2023. The works are anticipated to be carried out in two phases and are anticipated to be completed within 2 weeks. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

Schedule

1. Bishops Road (D5353) Farnham – its entire length. Alternative Route – Folly Lane North, Upperhale Road and Spring Lane. 2. Folly Lane North (D5353) Farnham – that length which extends from its junction with Gravel Road to its junction with Hope Lane. Alternative Route – Hope Lane, Bishops Road, Upper Hale Road, Folly Lane North and Spring Lane.

Woodbourne (D5345) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 17 January 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Woodbourne (D5345) Farnham which extends from its junction with B3007 Weybourne Road, north-westwards for a distance of 20m. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate resurfacing of carriageway and installation of road markings, which is anticipated to be carried out between 7am and 7pm on weekdays, as soon as possible within the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 January 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Alternative Route – D5345 Copse Avenue, D5345 Oakland Avenue, C121 Upper Weybourne Lane, B3007 Weybourne Road and vice versa.

D5524 Scotland Lane, Haslemere Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D5524 Scotland Lane, Haslemere. This Traffic Order is required to enable Mostrim Groundworks Ltd to make sewer connections and/or carry out road surfacing and/or maintenance works in D5524 Scotland Lane, Haslemere outside “No.52 Scotland Lane” and “No.54 Scotland Lane”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5:30pm, within 1 week of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 February 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, businesses, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of operatives on site and/or road plates via the alternative route:- Haste Hill, Petworth Road, High Street, Shepherds Hill and Midhurst Road.

Upper Weybourne Lane (C121) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Upper Weybourne Lane (C121) Farnham. Alternative Route: (B3007) Weybourne Road, (A325) Hale Roundabout, (A325) Hale Road, and (A325) Farnborough Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate water defect works for, or on behalf of South East Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 February 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
