THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (LOWER NORTH STREET, EXETER) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 12/2/24 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 22/3/24. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: LOWER NORTH STREET, EXETER, FROM NEAR NO 18 TO ST ANNES WELL MEWS The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - EXE STREET, A377 BONHAY ROAD, ST DAVIDS HILL, HELE ROAD, B3183, QUEEN STREET, NORTHERNHAY STREET, & VICE VERSA. The no entry restriction between NORTHERNHAY STREET and ST ANNES WELL MEWS will be suspended. 
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PILED RETAINING WALL UNDER THE IRON BRIDGE.
