Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

A225 High Street, Sevenoaks, TN13 9WP (PROHIBITION OF NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit northbound traffic on part of A225 High Street, Sevenoaks, on or after 22nd January 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed to northbound traffic at the junction with A224 London Road.

The alternative route is via A224 London Road, Pembroke Road and vice versa.

 

B2027 Clinton Lane, Bough Beech, Five Fields Lane, Four Elms & How Green Lane, Hever TN8 7PP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on  B2027 Clinton Lane, Bough Beech, Five Fields Lane, Four Elms and How Green Lane, Hever, on or after 5th February 2024 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

B2027 Clinton Lane will be closed between How Green Lane and Ide Hill Road.

Five Fields Lane and How Green Lane will be closed for the entire length.

The alternative route for B2027 Clinton Lane is via B2027 Bough Beech Road/Four Elms Road, B2026 Station Road/Mont St Aignan Way/High Street/Mill Hill/Hartfield Road, A264 Colestock Road/East Grinstead Road/Watch Oak Hill/Ashurst Hill/Ashurst Road, B2158 Fordcombe Road/Spring Hill/Saints Hill/New Road/Fordcombe Road/High Street, B2176 Penshurst Road/Station Hill/Moorden Lane, B2027 Tonbridge Road/Chequers Hill and vice versa.

The alternative route for Five Fields Lane is via B2027 Clinton Lane/Bough Beech Road/Four Elms Road and vice versa.

The alternative route for How Green Lane is via B2027 Clinton Lane/Chequers Hill, Hever Road and vice versa.

 

Bessels Green Road, Bessels Green, TN13 2QA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bessels Green Road, Bessels Green, on or after 22nd January 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Dormers.

The alternative route is via Bessels Green Road, B2042 Cold Arbor Road, A25 Westerham Road and vice versa.

 

Bullingstone Lane, Penshurst Road & Poundsbridge, Penshurst, TN3 0PJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bullingstone Lane, Penshurst Road and Poundsbridge, Penshurst, on or after 23rd January 2024 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

Bullingstone Lane will be closed outside The Orchard, Penshurst Road between Poundsbridge and Cloud Hill House and Poundsbridge between Bullingstone Lane and Poundsbridge Hill.

The alternative route is via Penshurst Road and Poundsbridge is via B2176 Penshurst Road, Barden Road, Speldhurst Hill, Penshurst Road and vice versa.

 

Carters Hill, Underriver, TN15 0RY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Carters Hill, Underriver, on or after 24th January 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed adjacent to Black Charles Barn.

The alternative route is via Carters Hill, Mill Lane, B245 London Road, A225 Weald Interchange/Riverhill, St Julians Road and vice versa.

 

Mill Lane, Underriver, TN15 0SQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mill Lane, Underriver, on or after 7th February 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Great Hollanden Farm.

The alternative route is via Mill Lane, B245 London Road, A21 Weald Interchange, A225 Riverhill, St Julians Road, Carters Hill and vice versa.

 

Scabharbour Road, Sevenoaks Weald, TN14 6QH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Scabharbour Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 22nd January 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Morleys Road and Weald Close.

The alternative route is via Scabharbour Road, Philpots Lane, Watts Cross Road, B245 London Road, A225 Weald Interchange, Morleys Road and vice versa.

 

School Lane, West Kingsdown, TN15 6JN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of a new gas connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of School Lane, West Kingsdown, on or after 5th February 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 2 The Green.

The alternative route is via School Lane, Knatts Lane, Knatts Valley Road, Botsom Lane, A20 London Road and vice versa.

 

Stone Street, Seal, TN15 0LL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stone Street, Seal, on or after 7th February 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Fernlea.

The alternative route is via Stone Street, Blakes Green Road, Bitchet Green Road, Pond Lane and vice versa.
