ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

GUYS CROSS PARK ROAD, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the junction of Gaveston Close to the junction with Coventry Road.

Reason for Order: To aid footway repairs.

Order Commences: 15 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 15 January 2024

Access & Diversion: Guys Cross Park Road, Lakin Road, Coventry Road and vice versa.

D28010 ANDERSON DRIVE, WHITNASH

Order Effect: Road closed between junctions of Normanby Meadows and Coppice Road.

Reason for Order: Structural carriageway patching works, closed 08:00-16:00 hrs.

Order Commences: 17 November 2023 for up to 18 months. Unfortunately, these works were delayed but have now been scheduled to 19 January 2024.

Anticipated Completion: 17 November 2023

Access & Diversion: Coppice Road, Erica Drive, Villebon Way, Anderson Drive and vice versa. Limited access to Bolyfant Crescent, Hughes Close, Dawson Close and Crutchely Way.

CASTLE LANE, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Castle Street and Back Lane.

Reason for Order: To enable laying of duct across carriageway.

Order Commences: 19 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 23 January 2024

Access & Diversion: Back Lane, High Street, Jury Street, Castle Hill and vice versa.

The one-way traffic flow on Castle Street will be temporarily reversed to allow access/egress.

ST JOHN’S AVENUE, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed from its junction with St John’s Street.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works for small hydrant installation.

Order Commences: 16 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 18 January 2024

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

ST NICHOLAS CHURCH STREET, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed between the junctions of St Johns and Banbury Road.

Reason for Order: To safely enable short pipe cut off works.

Order Commences: 13 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 14 January 2024

Access & Diversion: St Johns, Coten End, Emscote Road, Rugby Road, Binswood Street, Clarendon Square, Clarendon Place, Dale Street, Adelaide Road, Avenue Road, Park Drive, Princes Drive, Myton Road, Banbury Road, Castle Bridge and vice versa.

MAPLE ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Cashmore Avenue and Central Avenue.

Reason for Order: To enable works for a pipe installation.

Order Commences: 17 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 January 2024.

Access & Diversion: Maple Road, Baker Avenue, Tachbrook Road, Cashmore Avenue and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside the White House.

Reason for Order: Works for an air valve rebuild chamber.

Order Commences: 15 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 17 January 2024.

Access & Diversion: Wolverton Road, New Road and vice versa

CUBBINGTON ROAD, LILLINGTON, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Lillington Road and Crown Way.

Reason for Order: Installation of new surface water separation mains and associated works

Order Commences: 15 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 17 May 2024.

Access & Diversion: Cubbington Road, Rugby Road, Leamington Road, Main Street, Oxford Road, Ryton Road, Leicester Lane, Lillington Road and vice versa.

D7111 STATION ROAD, A452 WAVERLEY ROAD, A452 PRIORY ROAD, D7111 BERTIE ROAD & D7107 SOUTHBANK ROAD, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as indicated follows: Station Road – between its junction with Drew Crescent and entrance to Goodway Cuttings, Waverley Road & Priory Road – between their junctions with Bertie Road and the train station exit.

In addition the on-way traffic flow on the following roads will be temporarily suspended: Station Road – From its junction with Bertie Road to Waverley Road, Bertie Road – From entrance to Waitrose Car Park to Waverley Road and Southbank Road – from its junction with Station Road to end of one-way section.

Reason for Order: Closures: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works as follows: Thursday 18 January & Friday 19 January, 09.00-15.00 hrs, Sunday 14 January & 21st January, 17.00-22.00hrs.

Suspension of One-Way: To enable access/egress for residents and businesses whilst works are in progress.

Order Commences: 14 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 21 January 2024

Access & Diversion: Clockwise – Waverley Road, Warwick Road, St. Johns, Warwick Road, The Square, Abbey End, Abbey Hill and Priory Road Anti-Clockwise – Priory Road, Abbey Hill, Abbey End, The Square, Warwick Road and Waverley Road.

Access/Egress to/from Lockhart Close and Drew Crescent may be restricted whilst works are in progress.

CAMPION ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic in its entirety from its junction with Lillington Road.

Reason for Order: Installation of new Surface Water Separation mains and associated works

Order Commences: 15 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 April 2024.

Access & Diversion: Campion Road, Villiers Street, Lower Villiers Street, Clarendon Street, Lillington Road and vice versa.

PARADE, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the junction with Dormer Place to the junction with Regent Street.

Reason for Order: To enable road surface repairs.

Order Commences: 28 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 28 January 2024.

Access & Diversion: Parade, Victoria Terrace, Bath Street, High Street, Old Warwick Road, Myton Road, Princes Drive, Park Drive, Avenue Road, Adelaide Road, Dale Street, Clarendon Place, Clarendon Avenue and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the junction with Smith Street to the car park of Priory Walk.

Reason for Order: To provide fibre overhead cabling for a customer.

Access & Diversion: Smith Street, St Nicholas Church Street, Castle Hill, The Butts, Priory Road.

Order Effect: Footpath closed to ALL traffic from a point outside number 12 – outside number 5 & outside number 14 to the junction of Princes Street.

Reason for Order: To enable works for laying duct.

Order Commences: 1 February 2024 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 8 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: Footpath from 2 to 30 Comyn Street, Comyn Street, Princes Street and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of Bridge Street and Grange Close.

Reason for Order: To enable works for renewal of a water pipe.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH BETWEEN 1 AND 15 THE GRANGE, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Public footpath closed to ALL traffic from Upper Holly Walk to a point outside 15 The Grange.

Reason for Order: Works to lay duct in the footway.

Order Commences: 29 January 2024 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 2 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: Access road to the rear of 1 to 9 The Grange, Upper Holly Walk and vice versa.

Order Effect: Public Footpath closed to ALL traffic from the side of 117 – side of 109 & side of 151 to a point outside 125.

Reason for Order: To enable works for laying duct. Please note: The work will be completed in phases.

Order Commences: 30 January 2024 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 6 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: Footpath from Upper Holly Walk to Holly Street, Upper Holly Walk, Campion Terrace, Holly Street and vice versa.

Access & Diversion: Lakin Court, Paradise Street, Woodville Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed between Ashfield Road and Farmer Ward Road.

Anticipated Completion: 31 January 2024.

Access & Diversion: Ashfield Road, Thornbury Avenue, Farmer Ward Road and vice versa.

A452 WARWICK ROAD, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed between the junctions of St Johns Road and Whites Row.

Reason for Order: Drainage works, closed 08:00-17:00  hrs Sundays only.

Order Commences: 28 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 11 February 2024.

Access & Diversion: A452, A46, A45, A429 and A452.

A4177 BIRMINGHAM ROAD, BUDBROOKE

Order Effect: A 30-mph speed restriction will be imposed on A4177 Birmingham Road, Budbrooke from its junction with Charingworth Drive 400 metres Southwest to its junction with Ugly Bridge Road. All traffic will be prohibited from making a Right Turn from Birmingham Road, Budbrooke A4177 on to Parr Drive, Budbrooke. The Public Cycleway will be closed from its junction with Charingworth Drive to its junction with Ugly Bridge Road (cyclists to dismount).

Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users and of the contractors working on construction of new access.

Order Commences: 24 January 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 20 February 2024.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times.
