What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Rectory Rd, Taplow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Rectory Rd for approx 23M. Alternative route: Hill Farm Rd, Cliveden Rd, Rectory Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water fire hydrant works commence on 12 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. (Fulmer Rd, Gerrards Cross) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Fulmer Rd for approx 44M. Alternative route: Fulmer Rd, Oxford Rd, Windsor Rd, Gerrards Cross Rd, Stoke Common Rd, Windmill Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water new connection works commence on 12 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(High St, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2023 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in High St for approx 81M. Alternative route: Summers Rd, Wilmot Rd, Minniecroft Rd, Gore Rd, Britwell Rd, Hogfair Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water service pipe repair works commence on 12 Feb 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 Feb 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Baring Road, Beaconsfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Baring Road for approx 147M. Alternative route: Baring Crescent, Reynolds Road, Penn Road, Baring Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst sewer repairs for a burst main commences on 05 February 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 05 February 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Black Park Rd, Fulmer) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Black Park Rd for approx 531M. Alternative route: Fulmer Common Rd, Framewood Rd, Rowley Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas work to repair sleeves to gas pipeline works commence on 22 Jan 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22 Jan 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Public Bridleway No. 32, Iver) (Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2023 made on 21 July 2023, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport been continued in force and will so continue until 1 March 2024. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding on foot or on horseback or lead a horse or cycle, except for access, along the length of Public Bridleway No. 32, Iver, 230M SW from the junction with Denham Road and continues for a distance of approximately 150M E to allow works being carried out on electrical infrastructure. The alternative route will be available parallel to the existing bridleway alongside the field boundary.
