Cynon Taf wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf
Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf
Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para
deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.
Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn cynnal gwaith dymchwel ac er
m wyn adeiladu pont newydd.
Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau Heol Caerdydd, Glyn-taf, o ffin
ddeheuol Rhif 27 Heol Caerdydd, tua'r gogledd at ei chyffordd â
ffordd ymuno'r A470 – pellter o 130 metr.

• Cau'r ffordd yn llwyr rhwng 00:01 ddydd Sadwrn 20
Ionawr 2024 a 05:00 ddydd Llun 22 Ionawr 2024
Bydd angen cau Heol Caerdydd yn gyfan gwbl ar gyfer gwaith
sy'n gysylltiedig â'r bont droed newydd. Mae'r dyddiadau i'w
cadarnhau a bydd arwyddion yn rhybuddio ymlaen llaw yn eu lle
7 diwrnod cyn y cau.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CARDIFF ROAD, GLYNTAF)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff
County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have
a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The closure is necessary to facilitate the demolition and
installation of a new bridge
The effect of the Order will be to close Cardiff Road, Glyntaf,
from the southern boundary of No 27 Cardiff Road northwards
to its junction with the A470 on slip road, a distance of 130
metres
Alternative route
From the southern side of the closure, proceed via Cardiff Road
A4054, Upper Boat Roundabout, A470 northbound and Glyntaff
Interchange to the northern side of the closure.
From the northern side of the closure, proceed via Glyntaff
Interchange, A470 southbound, Upper Boat Roundabout and
Cardiff Road A4054 to the southern side of the closure
Access WILL NOT be maintained for pedestrians or emergency
service vehicles
Access to premises will be maintained
The closure is expected to be in operation between the following
dates, or until such time as the works has been completed:-
• Full closure 00:01 on Saturday 20th January 2024 to
05:00 on Monday 22nd January 2024
Additional full closures of Cardiff Road will be required for works
associated with the new footbridge, dates to be confirmed and
advanced warning signs will be in place 7 days prior to the
closure
