Various Roads - Temporary Restriction Of Traffic Order 2024

VARIOUS ROADS, NORTH TYNESIDE TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders prohibits all through traffic on the following as and when signage indicates:

Forest Hall
On Killingworth Road from the junction with Great Lime Road to the junction with Great Lime Road Lane. An alternate route is available via Killingworth Road, West Lane, Hillside, Great Lime Road.
The Order is required for carriageway resurfacing and will come into force on 15 February 2024 for a period not exceeding 13 days. Works to be completed between the hours of 18:00 - 00:00.

North Shields
1. On Burdon Street underneath the metro bridge.
 An alternate route is available via Burdon Street, Nelson Terrace, Howdon Road, East Howdon Bypass, Wallsend Road, Norham Road, Waterville Road.
 The Order is required to install a gulley underneath the bridge and will come into force on 15 February 2024 for a period not exceeding 11 days.

2. On Chirton West View Lane At Rear Of 60-86 from the junction with Lovaine Place West to the junction with West Percy Road West. There is no alternative route as this a back lane, however access to be given where possible. 
 The Order is required to install poly ducting within the carriageway and will come into force on 19 February 2024 for a period not exceeding 10 days.

3. On Cleveland Road Lane from the junction with Grosvenor Place to behind number 45 Cleveland Road. An alternate route is available via Cleveland Road Lane At Rear Of 37-73, Cleveland Terrace, Grosvenor Place. 
 The Order is required to clear duct blockages and will come into force on 20 February 2024 for a period not exceeding 9 days.

4. On Harnham Avenue from the junction with Norham Road to the junction with Stannington Road. An alternate route is available via Harnham Avenue, Stannington Road, Craster Road, Verne Road, Norham Road
 The Order is required for the installation of traffic calming raised tables and will come into force on 08 February 2024 lasting until the 14 February 2024. Working hours from 07:30 until 15:30.

5. On the road between Norham Road and Simonburn Avenue. An alternate route is available via Simonburn Avenue, Nunwick Gardens, Norham Road and in reverse order. 
 The Order is required for the installation of traffic calming raised tables and will come into force on 08 February 2024 lasting until the 14 February 2024. Working hours will be from 07:30 until 15:30.

6. On Spring Terrace Lane. 
 There is no alternative route available as this lane leads to a no exit. Access to be maintained where possible for residents. 
 The Order is required to excavate and disconnect a service, and will come into force on 27 February 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days.

7. On Verne Road from outside the Nautilus PH to outside number 13 Verne Road (approx). Works to completed in sections. 
 An alternate route is available via Verne Road, Billy Mill Avenue, Front Street, Wallsend Road, Waterville Road, Norham Road.
 The Order is required for the resurfacing of the carriageway and will come into force on 21 February 2024 for a period not exceeding 14 days. Working times will be from 18:00 - 00:00.

8. On Wallsend Road from the roundabout with Norham Road to the junction with Beadnell Avenue. An alternate route is available via Wallsend Road, Front Street, Silkeys Lane, Waterville Road.
 The Order is required for the installation of traffic calming raised tables and will come into force on 05 February 2024 lasting until the 11 February 2024. Working hours will be from 19:00 until 00:00.

Shiremoor
On Angerton Avenue from the junction with Park Lane to outside approx. 
5 Angerton Avenue.
An alternate route is available via Park Lane, Park Road, Horsley Avenue.
The Order is required for road resurfacing and will come into force on 29 February 2024 for a period not exceeding 9 days.

Tynemouth
On Stanwick Street Lane At Rear Of 1-9 to from the junction with Hotspur Street to behind number 9 Stanwick Street. An alternate route is available via Hotspur Street, Syon Street
The Order is required to excavate and renew a service and will come into force on 19th February 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days.

Wallsend
1. On Croft Avenue Lane At Side And Rear Of 3-15. An alternate route is available via Coronation Street, Croft Avenue Lane At Side And Rear Of 2-14, Park Road Lane At Side And Rear Of 87-157.
 The Order is required to excavate and renew a lead service and will come into force on 19th February 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days. 
2. On High Street East Lane At Rear Of 66-200 from 172 to 186 High Street East.
 An alternate route is available via Lawson Street, High Street East, Park Road. 
The Order is required to renew a service due to lead content and will come into force on 13 February 2024 for a period not exceeding 4 days.
3. On Shakespeare Street Lane At Rear Of 1 And 19. There is no alternative route but access to be given to residents where possible.
 The Order is required to facilitate a service disconnection and will come into force on 15 January 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days.

Whitley Bay
On Cliftonville Gardens Lane At Side And Rear Of 34-70 from behind numbers 58-62 Cliftonville Gardens. An alternate route is available via Bournemouth Gardens, Ventnor Gardens, Eastbourne Gardens Lane At Rear Of 24-34. 
The Order is required to excavate and renew lead service and will come into force on 13 February 2024 for a period not exceeding 4 days.
