What is happening?

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Tresham Road Peterborough,

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024

                                                   Ref: 24-378

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Tresham Road, outside 1, 4, 17 and 34. Only one location will be closed at a time. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is within Tresham Road in the opposite direction. The proposed order will come into force on the 15/01/2024 and will continue until the installation of speed cushions has been completed or until the 14/01/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 15/01/2024 and the 26/01/2024. The City of Peterborough English Drove, Thorney,

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024

                                                   Ref: 24-379

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as English Drove, Thorney, as lies between The Concrete Company and Lime Tree Farm. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is Crowland Rd, French Drove, New Cut, English Drove and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 15/01/2024 and will continue until the installation of new strategic pipeline works have been completed or until the 14/01/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 15/01/2024 and the 26/01/2024. For further information please

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Witham Way to Fulbridge Road

Footpath, Paston, Peterborough, Temporary Prohibition of

Through Traffic Order 2024        Ref: 24-366

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Witham Way to Fulbridge Road Footpath, Paston as lies between Witham Way and Fulbridge Road. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is via: Fulbridge Rd, Hallfields Lane, Paston Ridings, Witham Way and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 22/01/2024 and will continue until the gas mains replacement works have been completed or until the 21/07/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 22/01/2024 and the 09/02/2024.
