ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
The East Sussex (U6190 St Marys Lane, Ticehurst)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County
Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this
notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will
temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
St Marys Lane – from the junction with C83 Church Street to
the junction with B2099 High Street.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular
access for residents and to properties maintained whenever
possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2099
High Street – C83 Church Street.
The Order commences 30 January 2024 and lasts for a period
of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is
earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on
30 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C81 Bells Yew Green Road, Frant)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council intend not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)
(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which
will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Bells Yew Green Road – from the junction with C81 The Green
to the junction with B2169 Bayham Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular
access for residents and to properties maintained whenever
possible with an alternative route for through traffic via – C81
The Green – A267 Frant Green Road, Frant Road – B2169
Bayham Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 30 January 2024 and lasts for a period
of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is
earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken
between 30 January and 1 February 2024 depending upon the
weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C83 Cottenden Road, Stonegate)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and
15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Cottenden Road – from the junction with C214 Bardown Road
to the junction with C83 Myskyns Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular
access for residents and to properties maintained whenever
possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C214
Bardown Road, Stonegate Road – B2099 Shovers Green, High
Street – C83 Church Street, Wardsbrook Road, Myskyns Road
and vice versa.
The Order commences 12 January 2024 and lasts for a period
of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is
earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on
12 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (B2099 Ticehurst Road/Pashley Road,
Hurst Green/Ticehurst) (Temporary Prohibition of
Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and
15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Ticehurst Road/Pashley Road – from the junction with A21(T)
Hastings Road to the junction with B2087 Lower Platts.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular
access for residents and to properties maintained whenever
possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2087
Lower Platts, Dale Hill, Union Street, High Street – A21(T)
Hastings Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 17 January 2024 and lasts for a period
of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is
earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken
from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs between 17 and 19 January 2024
depending upon the weather conditions.
