Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 January 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of:- a) D3237 Station Crescent, Ashford.
Alternative Route:- D3236 Avondale Road, D3234 Cumberland Road, D3234 Ashford Crescent, D3236 Salcombe Road and B378 Stanwell Road . b) A244 Windmill Road, Sunbury on Thames.
Alternative Route:- From the northern end of closure – A308 Staines Road West, A308 Staines Road East, A308 Upper Sunbury Road, A308 Hampton Court Road, A309 Hampton Court Way, A3050 Creek Road, A3050 Bridge Road, A3050 River Bank, A3050 Hurst Road, A3050 Terrace Road, A3050 Bridge Street, A244 Walton Bridge, A244 Walton Bridge Road, A244 Gaston Bridge Road, A244 Upper Halliford By-Pass and A244 Upper Halliford Road.
Traffic from the southern end of closure to follow this route in reverse with exception that via A3050 River Bank rather than A3050 Creek Road through Hampton Court one-way system.
This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out carriageway patching and/or dressing and/or resurfacing and/or improvement and/or maintenance works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 January 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for emergency services, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained via the vehicular diversion routes described above.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
A3100 Portsmouth Road, Godalming
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 January 2024 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of A3100 Portsmouth Road, Godalming that extends from the eastern side of its junction with A286 Church Road, Milford to its junction with D5404 Shackstead Lane. This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out highway dressing and/or resurfacing and/or maintenance and/or improvement works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out in phases within the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 January 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for emergency services, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- A3100 Portsmouth Road, A283 Guildford Road, A283 Link Road, A283 Elstead Road Roundabout, A3 Milford By-Pass, A3 Guildford and Godalming By-Pass, B3000 Puttenham Heath Road, B3000 The Street, B3000 New Pond Road, A3100 Old Portsmouth Road, A3100 Meadrow, A3100 Bridge Road, A3100 Flambard Way and A3100 Ockford Road.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

Temporary Traffic Management Order 2024
On 10 January 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:-
1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of A308 Staines Road West, Sunbury on Thames that extends from the south-western property boundary of “No.195 Staines Road West”, to the south-eastern property boundary of “No.79 Staines Road West”.
2. a) Prohibit vehicles that are proceeding in a northerly direction on A244 Windmill Road, Sunbury on Thames from turning right into A308 Staines Road West.
b) Prohibit vehicles that are proceeding in a northerly direction on D6245 Escot Road, Sunbury on Thames from turning right into A308 Staines Road West.
c) Prohibit vehicles that are proceeding in a southerly direction on A244 Cadbury Road, Sunbury on Thames, upon reaching the junction with A308 Staines Road West from continuing southwards into A244 Windmill Road.
d) Prohibit vehicles that are proceeding in an easterly direction on A308 Staines Road West, Sunbury on Thames from turning left into A244 Cadbury Road.
e) Prohibit vehicles that are proceeding in an easterly direction on A308 Staines Road West, Sunbury on Thames from turning right into D6245 Escot Road.
This Traffic Order is required to enable Lanes Group to carry out sewer cleaning and/or maintenance and/or associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 10pm and 5:30am within 3 nights of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 January 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary prohibitions will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described below:- 1. Staines By-Pass, Staines Road West, Sunbury Cross Roundabout and Staines Road West. 2. Staines By-Pass, Staines Road West, Fordbridge Roundabout and Staines Road West.
Amis Avenue (D3063) Addlestone
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 January 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Amis Avenue (D3063) Addlestone which extends from its junction with The Broadway to its junction with Copthall Way; and (b) revoke “Surrey County Council D2393 Amis Avenue, Addlestone Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022” insofar as it relates to Amis Avenue as specified in sub-paragraph (a) only.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out carriageway treatment works, which is anticipated to be completed within 7 days, as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 16 January 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained only when safe to do so, if necessary, via the diversion route.
During certain phases of the works, vehicular access to premises may be restricted, when this is the case such restriction of access will apply for no more than eight hours within any 24-hour period.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
Alternative Route – D3063 The Broadway, D3064 Kingston Rise, D3062 Queen Marys Drive and D3063 Copthall Way.
Woodland Avenue (D694) Cranleigh
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Woodland Avenue (D694) Cranleigh.
This Order is required to facilitate installation of new customer connection works for, or on behalf of UKPN.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 January 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates if required, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. There is no alternative route for this closure.
Hurst Road (A3050), Church Road (D6935), and Graburn Way (D6935) East Molesey
Temporary Prohibition of Left and Right Turn Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles that are travelling:- (a) travelling north-eastwards on Church Road (D6935) East Molesey from turning left into (A3050) Hurst Road.
Alternative Route: turn Right onto A3050 Hurst Road; A3050 Riverbank; A309 Hampton Court Way; Creek Road; Bridge Road; Wolesey Road; Church Road; Vine Road; and Hurst Lane; (b) travelling eastwards on Hurst Road (A3050) East Molesey from turning right into (D6935) Church Road. Alternative Route: A3050 Hurst Road; A3050 Riverbank; A309 Hampton Court Way; Creek Road; Bridge Road; Wolsey Road; and Church Road; (c) travelling southwestwards on Graburn Way (D6935) East Molesey from turning left into (A3050) Hurst Road.
Alternative Route: Church Road; Palace Road; and Bridge Road; and (d) travelling westwards on Hurst Road (A3050) East Molesey from turning right into (D6935) Graburn Way, Alternative Route: Hurst Road (Westbound); Roundabout; Hurst Road (Eastbound); and Graburn Way.
This Temporary Traffic Order is required to allow sewerage connection works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of RED Construction.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 days within the 12- month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 February 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary prohibitions, which are anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
The above restriction shall not apply to vehicles being used in relation to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or in accordance with any restrictions or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the Police.
Lower Breache Road (D278) Cranleigh
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Lower Breache Road (D278) Cranleigh.
Alternative Route: North Breache Lane, (B2127) Ockley Road, and Lyefield Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate installation and replacement of telecom pole works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 05 February 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
C10 Station Road, Egham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C10 Station Road, Egham that extends from its junction with C10 Manorcrofts Road, to its junction with B3407 Church Road. 2. Suspend the “Surrey County Council Station Road (C10) Egham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” in its entirety.
This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out footway works and/or highway dressing and/or resurfacing and/or improvement and/or maintenance works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 January 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for emergency services, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the
alternative route:- Eastbound – B3407 Church Road, B3407 High Street, B388 Vicarage Road, B3376 New Wickham Lane, C10 Stroude Road and C10 Manorcrofts Road. Westbound – B3407 Church Road, B3407 High Street, A30 Egham Hill, A30 London Road, B389 Christchurch Road, C10 Stroude Road, B3376 New Wickham Lane, C10 Stroude Road and C10 Manorcrofts Road.

A248 The Street and A25 Sherbourne, Albury
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of A248 The Street and A25 Sherbourne, Albury.
This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out highway dressing and/or resurfacing and/or improvement and/or maintenance and/or footway works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out within 5 days of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 February 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in:- a) That length of C33 Plaistow Road, Dunsfold that extends from its junction with C33 Wrotham Hill, to its junction with D161 Fisher Lane. Alternative route:- C33 Wrotham Hill, C35 Common House Road, C35 Alfold Road, C35 Dunsfold Road, B2133 Loxwood Road, B2133 Guildford Road, B2133 Loxwood High Street, Plaistow Road, Loxwood Road and C33 Dunsfold Road. b) The entire length of B2127 Ewhurst Road, B2127 Bookhurst Road and B2127 Cranleigh Road, Cranleigh and Ewhurst.
Alternative route:- C47 The Green, C47 Somersbury Lane and B2128 Horsham Road.
This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out highway dressing and/or resurfacing and/or improvement and/or maintenance and/or footway works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out within 5 days of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 27 January 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians at all times. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained via the diversion routes described above.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
Tannery Lane (D235) Send
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Tannery Lane (D235) Send which extends from its junction with Brook Lane to its junction with Clockbarn Lane and any parts thereof; and (b) suspend “The Surrey County Council D235 Tannery Lane and D236 Papercourt Lane, Send Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” and “The Surrey County Council D235 Tannery Lane Send Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023” in their entirety.
This Order is required to enable Affinity Water to carry out water works, which is anticipated to be completed within 2 days, between 9.30am and 4pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 30 January 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, and the suspension of the Orders will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and to the extent indicated by those signs.
Access for pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, access to properties within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will not be maintained.
The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises, including emergency service vehicle access, within the length of road above or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
Alternative Route – Send Road, Send Marsh Road, Polesden Lane and Tannery Lane or vice versa.
Southway (D4001) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles, equestrians and cyclists from entering or proceeding in that length of Southway (D4001) Guildford which extends from its junction with Aldershot Road to its junction with Firsway and any parts thereof.
This Order is required to enable Nationwide Platforms to carry out telecommunication works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 10am and 3.30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 31 January 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and to the extent indicated by those signs. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, access to properties within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will not be maintained.

The Street (A247) West Clandon
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of The Street (A247) West Clandon as extends from its junction with (A25) Epsom Road to its junction with (D852) Meadowlands.
Alternative Route: (a): (A25) Shere Road, (A25) Epsom Road, (A246) Epsom Road, (A3100) London Road, (A3100) Clay Lane, (A3) Guildford – Godalming By-pass, (A3) London Road, (B2215) London Road, (A247) Clandon Road, and (A247) The Street; and (b) (A247) The Street, (A247) Clandon Road, (A3) Ripley By-pass Southbound, (A3) London Road, (A3) London Burpham Slip Road, (A3100) London Road, (A246) Epsom Road, (A25) Epsom Road.
This Order is required to facilitate excavation works, along with new ducting works along the carriageway and footway for, or on behalf of BT Openreach.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 February 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the operatives on site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Barhatch Lane (D192) Cranleigh
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Barhatch Lane (D192) Cranleigh as extends from its junction with the access to the properties known as “Springfold, “The Old House, and “High Canfold Farm” to its junction with (D191) Amlets Lane.
Alternative Route: Barhatch Lane, Horseblock Hollow, Windmill Plain, Mill Hollow, Pitch Hill, Shere Road, (B2127) The Street, (B2127) Cranleigh Road, and (B2127) Bookhurst Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate installation of new customer connection works for, or on behalf of Thames Water.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days between the hours of 9am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 January 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates if required, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Ember Lane (B3379) Esher
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Ember Lane (B3379) Esher as extends from its junction with (D6899) Lower Green Road to its junction with (D6903) The Woodlands. Alternative Route: Lower Green Road, Woodend, Grove Way, The Drive, and (B3379) Ember Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate highways carriageway/footway patching and/or carriageway/ footway surface dressing and/or carriageway/ footway resurfacing and/or major highway maintenance works by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council.
These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 31 January 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed; and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only.
Vehicular access for residents and businesses will be maintained only when safe to do so, if necessary, via the diversion routes. During certain phases of the works, vehicular access to premises may be restricted, when this is the case such restriction of access will apply for no more than eight hours within any 24-hour period.

Camberley and Frimley into Cycle Track Order 2024
The above Order, made on 5 January 2024, under section 3(1) of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984 if confirmed as made, will convert parts of the width of Public Footpath No. 200 Camberley & Frimley from Public Bridleway 13 Camberley & Frimley 195 metres north of its junction with Frith Hill Road at OS Grid Reference 489211 158335 in a generally east north easterly direction for 530 metres at a width of 2.5 metres along the northern side of the path to Public Bridleway 14 at OS Grid Reference 489702 158468 then recommences from Public Bridleway 14 at a point 77 metres to the east at OS Grid Reference 489788 158475 in a generally south easterly direction for 626 metres at a width of 2.5 metres along the north eastern side of the path to Public Bridleway 15 at a point 100 metres north west of its junction with Frith Hill Road at OS Grid Reference 490308 158173

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Countryside Access Team quoting reference AW/3/1/84 at Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ not later than 12 February 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no representations or objections are duly made or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.

Pursuant to Section 25 of the Highways Act 1980 In Frimley
The above named Agreement, made on 8 December 2023 under section 25 of the Highways Act 1980, has the effect of creating the public bridleway and public footpath described below.
DESCRIPTION OF BRIDLEWAY AND FOOTPATH TO BE DEDICATED
A bridleway commencing at O.S. Grid O.S. Grid Reference 490658 157985 then in a generally west north westerly direction for 409 metres to O.S. Grid Reference 490322 158164.
Width: 4 metres throughout; Limitations: None
A footpath commencing at O.S. Grid Reference 490308 158173 then in a north westerly direction from for 626 metres to O.S. Grid Reference 489788 158475 then in a generally westerly direction from O.S.Grid Reference 489702 158468 for 409 metres to O.S.Grid Reference 498208 158335
Width: 4 metres throughout; Limitations: None
A copy of the Agreement has been placed and may be seen free of charge at Surrey County Council, Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ by appointment (Tel. 0300 200 1003). Copies of the Agreement may be bought there at the price of £4.00 Under section 25 there is no right of objection and the Agreement has taken immediate effect.
