What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (RING ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the left hand turn slip road from Ring Road St Georges onto Birmingham Road. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on the following dates: l 13 January 2024 l 14 January 2024 l 21 January 2024 l 22 January 2024 l 27 January 2024 l 28 January 2024 It is anticipated that the closure will operate between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The diversion route is: Ring Road St Johns (westbound), Ring Road/Penn Road Island and Ring Road St Johns (eastbound). The Order is required to facilitate duct laying on Birmingham Road and Grove Street by City Fibre.
