U9520 REDSHANK DRIVE FOOTWAY BLYTH
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on that section of the U9520 Redshank Drive Footway from its point at the gable end of house number 2 Redshank Drive heading south for a distance of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd February 2024 until the 31st March 2024. It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 3rd February 2024 until the 1st March 2024 and that the footway will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st March 2024.
The alternative route for pedestrian traffic will be via Amersham Road, Curlew Way and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks to carry out mains gas replacement in the footway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
