Longmoor Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?

(LONGMOOR LANE, NATEBY, WYRE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Order.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of Longmoor Lane, Nateby from its junction with Garstang Bypass Road to its junction with Parkside Lane.
2. Nothing in this Order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative nightly from 1800 hours to 2359 hours on Saturday 20th January 2024 and Sunday 21st January 2024 or until completion of the works within this period. Access will be maintained whenever and wherever possible.
4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:
Park Lane - Garstang Road - Main Street – Marsh Lane - Lancaster Road - Garstang Road - Black Lane - Kilcrash Lane - Longmoor Lane and vice versa
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out by LCC Highways.
