C399 STATION ROAD ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of C399 Station Road Ashington from its junction with North Seaton Road heading in a westerly direction for a length of 230 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th January 2024 until the 14th January 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed every Tuesday from the 15th January 2024 until the 14th January 2025 between the hours of 15:00 and 16:30 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Lintonville Road, Rotary Parkway, Duke Street and Station Road Ashington.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council due to the likelihood of danger to the public as the market closes down and the traders leave the site.
