What is happening?
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
HOLYHEAD ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended),
has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from
waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Holyhead Road from
its junction with Northumberland Road at Railway Bridge.
The Order will come into effect from 22:00 hours on Saturday 13th January 2024
and is required to enable bridge repair works to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said
works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be
completed by 06:00 hours on Sunday 14th January 2024
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in
uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker
vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part
of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works
(d) local vehicular access to Holyhead Road
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may
be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles
Regulations 1986.

KING RICHARD STREET, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended),
has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles
from entering or proceeding on King Richard Street from its junction with
Mowbray Street to its junction with Britannia Street, when prescribed signs are
displayed.
The Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on Tuesday, 16 January 2024 and
is required to enable Severn Trent Water connection installation works in King
Richard Street to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said
works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be
completed by 18 January 2024.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure will be sign posted
on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in
uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker
vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part
of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to King Richard Street.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended),
has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles
from entering or proceeding on Robert Cramb Avenue from its junction with
Gravel Hill to its junction with Ridgley Road, when prescribed signs are displayed.
The Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on Tuesday, 16 January 2024 and
is required to enable pipe installation works in Robert Cramb Avenue to take
place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said
works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be
completed by 18 January 2024.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure will be sign posted
on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in
uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker
vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part

GREYFRIARS LANE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended),
intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit
vehicles from waiting, loading, unloading, entering or proceeding along Greyfriars
Lane from its junction with Salt Lane and continuing to a point thirty (30) metres
south of that junction.
The Order would come into effect from 08:00 hours on 22nd January 2024 and is
required to enable the installation of new sewer connections to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said
works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would
be completed by 26th January 2024.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in
uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker
vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part
of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Greyfriars Lane.
