Gardner's Crescent Area, Edinburgh - Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation Order
What is happening?
THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL
(GARDNER’S CRESCENT AREA) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 – TEMP/24/02
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate Low Emission Zone (LEZ) infrastructure upgrade works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Gardner’s Cres, at its jnct with Morrison St; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of (i) Dewar Pl, from its jnct with Morrison St, northwards for 20m; (ii) Gardner’s Cres, from its jnct with Morrison St, south-eastwards for 70m; & (iii) Morrison St, from Gardner’s Cres to Torphichen Pl. The order shall have effect from 15/1/24 to 30/4/24. The alternative routes for vehicular traffic are via: (1) Fountainbridge, Semple St & Morrison St; or (2) Morrison St, West Maitland St (A8), Torphichen St, Dewar Pl, Morrison St, Lothian Rd & Fountainbridge. Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b).
