What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL
(LANARK ROAD WEST, A70) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 – TEMP/24/01
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and gully replacement works, no person shall:
(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle between
7.30pm & 6.30am; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on Lanark Rd West (A70), both sides, from the western kerbline of the west arm of its jnct with Bridge Rd, generally southwestwards to the south property boundary of No. 570. The Order shall have effect from 15/1/24 to 15/3/24. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Curriehill Rd, A71
& B7031. Local access to Ashley Grange, Ravelrig Wynd, Pilmuir Grv, Ravelrig Gait, Ravelrig Park & Ravelrig Hill will be maintained at all times.
