What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C311 SCHOOL ROAD, DALLINGHOO

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the C311 School Road, Dallinghoo from field no. 1 for 20 metres northbound to facilitate a new water supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Scotts Lane, the B1078 Ipswich Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/01/2024 -24/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TBF Traffic. Tel: (01449) 490865.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C528 MILL ROAD, REDLINGFIELD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C528 Mill Road, Redlingfield from 80 metres west of the junction with Abbotts Meadow lor 40 metres westbound to facilitate a water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Church Road, Woodline Road, Park Road, Church Comer, The Street, Bucks Green, the B1077, Cranley Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/01/2024 -25/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to MLP Traffic Limited. Tel: 0330 016 9696.

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE C647 GREEN LANE, HONINGTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the C647 Green Lane, Honington from the junction with Little Livermere for 2000 metres eastbound. This is to facilitate works on RAF Honington. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 08/01/2024.

It is intended that these measures will operate until 11/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Highway Assurance Ltd. Tel: 0333 577 1810.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1026 TURRET LANE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1026 Turret Lane, Ipswich from Old Cattle Market to no. 1 Turret Lane to facilitate a new gas service. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. (Northbound) Star Lane, Foundation Street, Lower Brook Street and no vice versa

2. (Southbound) Lower Brook Street, Star Lane, Key Street, College Street, Star Lane and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/01/2024 - 26/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to MLP Traffic Limited. Tel: 0330 050 0792.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ON PART OF THE C401 KATES LANE AND U4643 THE STREET, WETHERDEN

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

1. C401 Kates Lane, Wetherden from 15 metres west of the Junction with Church Street for 30 metres westbound 2.U4643 The Street, Wetherden from 20 metres north of the junction with Church Street for 20 metres northbound. This is to facilitate underground electrical works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists

The diversion routes will be:

1. Elmswell Road, Church Street and vice versa 2.Grove Lane, Station Road, Cross Street, Elmswell Road, Church Street and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the C401 Kates Lane from the junction with Elmswell Road to Harvest Cottage.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/01/2024 -28/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Highway Safety Management. Tel: (01473) 554385.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE C744 CAMPS HILL AND U6820 MILL ROAD, HAVERHILL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C744 Camps Hill, Haverhill from the ambulance station for 20 metres eastbound to facilitate carriageway repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Clements Lane, Duddery Hill, Helions Park Avenue, Mill Road and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the U6820 Mill Road, Haverhill to allow access and egress.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 22/01/2024 -26/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Anglian Water Services. Tel: 0345 714 5145.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2628 GLENEAGLES DRIVE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2628 Gleneagles Drive, Ipswich from Heath Road to the junction at no. 14 Gleneagles Drive to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Gleneagles Drive, Sunningdale Avenue, Ipswich, Claverton Way, Chafsworth Drive, Bixley Drive, Foxhall Road, Rushmere St Andrew, Foxhall Road, Ipswich, the A1189 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/01/2024 -26/01/2024 from 9.30am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Suffolk Highways. Tel: 0345 606 6171.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3126 CONSTABLE ROAD, FELIXSTOWE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3126 Constable Road, Felixstowe in the following phases;

1. from the junction with Quilter Road to no. 25

2. from no.25tono. 32.

This is to facilitate gas main replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. Cobbold Road, Bath Road, Brook Lane, Quilter Road, Croutel Road and vice versa

2. Felix Road, Cobbold Road, Bath Road, Brook Lane, Quilter Road, Constable Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/01/2024 -19/02/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to MLP Traffic. Tel: 0330 016 9696.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1156 ST MATTHEWS STREET, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1156 St Matthews Street, Ipswich from Clarkson Street to the Civic Drive roundabout to facilitate access to underground chambers. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Norwich Road, Chevallier Street, Yarmouth Road, Handford Road, Civic Drive and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 9pm on 23/01/2024 until 5am on 24/01/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Kelly Traffic Management. Tel: 02476 642814.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2805 HINTON ROAD, DARSHAM

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2805 Hinton Road, Darsham from 30 metres east of the junction with the A12 for 340 metres eastbound to facilitate the installation of electricity cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A12, the B1378, the B1125 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1078 SWILLAND ROAD, OTLEY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1078 Swilland Road, OUey from Gull Farm for 80 metres westbound to facilitate telecommunications renewal works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1078, the B1077, the B1079 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C674 BOYTON END, STOKE BY CLARE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C674 Boyton End, Stoke by Clare from 220 metres north of the A1092 for 30 metres northbound to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1092, the A1017, the B1061, Kings Hill, Silver Street and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C331 THE STREET, RUSHMERE ST ANDREW

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C331 The Street. Rushmere St Andrew from no. 15 for 30 metres southbound to facilitate repairs to a sluice valve chamber cover. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Playford Road, Woodbridge Road East, Colchester Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2015 SEVERN ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2015 Severn Road, Ipswich from no. 49 - no. 59 to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Derwent Road, Mersey Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6136 BACK STREET, LAKENHEATH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U6136 Back Street, Lakenheath from no. 25 - no. 27 to facilitate the installation of a new electricity supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Back Street, Mill Road, the B1112, Back Street and vice versa.
