West Heath Road - Road Closure to Facilitate Gas Main Replacement Works Safely
What is happening?

WEST HEATH ROAD, LONGBRIDGE & WEST HEATH (7191392)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) NOTICE 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than
seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of
which will be to Prohibit, any vehicle to proceed into West Heath Road from
junction of Fairfax Road to O/S No. 180 West Heath Road.
The temporary Order is required to facilitate Gas Main Replacement Works
safely.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on
site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent
as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by
The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday the 22nd January 2024
and will remain in force for a period of 20 weeks or until the works are
completed whichever is the earlier.
