Cakers Lane, Temporary Road Closure due to Works.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

CAKERS LANE, ALTON, EAST HAMPSHIRE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Cakers Lane between its junction with Wilsom Road and its junction with Worldham Hill.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Mill Lane, B3004, A31, A32, A272, A3, A325, B3004, Worldham Hill.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 8th January 2024 for a period of 18 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 month and will be required for 24 hours a day 7 days a week).

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
